  1. Hehe I'm like you too, super lazy abt the ID process + felt it was rather draining so met a grand total of 3, eliminated one at the outset and based my final selection on rapport! Signed on before it occurred to me 'eh I should have asked to see completed projects to evaluate workmanship hor'. But I have faith in fellow forummers reviews (shout out to ZzzMonster, doubleEM and g0mug0mu haha) Jia you! Looks like we will be starting reno around the same time so good luck to both of us!!
  2. Haha thanks!! Cross fingers everything will be smooth smooth and come out nice nice looking forward to seeing your completed place too!
  3. Still toying with the idea of starting a t-blog... dunno if I have the discipline to maintain it o_0 Thanks for the pic of ur lights!! Looks quite bright, I likey haha
  4. Update: I've signed up with your ID!! Haha eggcited! Wanted to ask you... Is your L-box lighting bright enough? Thinking of doing something like that too but I like bright bright rooms so just wondering if lighting around the perimeter of the room is sufficient
  5. A nice salesman uncle in Best Denki told me that it's coz there are usually diff load capacities for washing / drying i.e. It's usually like 9kg washing / 6kg drying, but ppl tend to just load to the max for washing... so when it comes to the drying, the machine is overloaded hence clothes will still be damp + increased chance of spoiling. If u don't overload it then lasting power shd be the same. Haven't tested his theory before though, but it sounds quite convincing so I will be getting a 2-in-1! Haha
  6. Yes that's what I'm telling my bank account too hahha! must say im quite reassured after reading both yours and ZzzMonster's experiences... Meeting her soon, hope we can work something out!!
  7. I had my heart set on a Blanco granite sink for no other reason than it looks v chio and I like the idea of granite coz it sounds sturdy steady bombardi But after reading doubleEM's comment on the algae issue I think need to reevaluate le... *ok totally not being helpful*
  8. I'm still deciding... She's my preferred ID but unfortch my preferences always tend to be not very pocket friendly... Haha
  9. Hi doubleEM, Been quietly following your updates coz I've been speaking to your ID as well! Your staircase looks so good I almost want to have stairs (which I hate to climb haha) too!
  10. Ohh your marble countertop + gold theme is so pretty!! If you have a kitchen island like the second pic can totally serve tea and biscuits off it whilst talking about how well the roses are blooming this spring haha!
  11. Thanks guys! Will be meeting the ID this weekend, hopefully can work something out!
  12. Hopefully can finalise soon!! I'm removing sooo many things from my wish list to fit my budget ( btw do u think it's advisable to sign up with an ID before actually getting the keys (which is a month away lorrrrr)? I would definitely prefer to base the quotation on the actual measurements, but does it take long for the conceptualisation / designing process?
  13. Can't wait to see how your bookshelf turns out! I'm planning to do a full length / height one along my living room wall... But so much agonising.... Its always the uncovered ones that look the best and have the little bookshop on the corner charm, but the prospect of dusting has well, literally turned that plan to dust. Hoping to steal some inspiration from your delightful (yes I believe it will be a spectacular delight) bookshelf!
