i don't think there's a need to get 2 licenses. some ppl has 3 -4 tv in their hse. it's only subjected to one license per household. unless u're using ur hse for some entertainment biz then probably u need a commercial tv license.

err... one thing to note. better check if there're muslims in the namelist becoz of the food we're eating. muz be neutral mah. hehe.... but anyway most of the food are not halal. so if muslim friends that wish to join us would probably have to bring their own food unless the caterer we get is halal. just my own thoughts becoz i work in a multi-racial environment where race is much of a concern when it comes to dining.

if u know which particular unit is throwing cigarette butt down then perhaps u could talk to them but if it doesn't settle the problem then u might need to notify police and/or HDB. state that wat if the cigarette butt gets into a person hse then it could cause fires. and also keep those clothings that was burnt as evidence. if u could collect the cigarette butt of the culprit then it'll be even better. becoz the police could send them for DNA matching in event if the culprit denies that it's his/her doing.

mmm... i don't mind to volunteer my hse for the potluck and lou hei etc. but it's a bit small though and i needa consult my wifey first.. another thing is that my living can't see the fireworks as my living room is overlooking northern part of s'pore.

so far i haven has any major cracks. no pop-up for sure. but noticed some very fine cracks esp along windows area but it's very fine cracks that's quite unnoticeable. btw, is there any BBQ pits ard our neighbourhood. perhaps we could organise a BBQ. is there a BBQ pit above our multi-storey carpark. i been there couple of months ago but find that it's really wasted not having BBQ pits there.

my sink is not 2bowl. it's actually a 1 1/2 bowl. now a bit regret becoz big potas can't fit into the sink but due to the limited space so no choice. !! i'm the one that instructed my contractor to do that sink and color coordination. hehe... but i did not do built-in cabinet due to budget constrain and i like to change my cabinet every few years. which floor are u stayin at actually. PM mi? i would like to dismantle my window grilles too but too many objections from in-law and my mum. they even asked why don't do window grille all the way up.. but for this, i strongly object. it feels like a jail. maybe in future when i hv kids then i will consider doing the grilles
