in actual fact, there are lifts with CCTVs installed. one of them that i know of is those studio flats beside braddel mrt. our lifts are designed in such a way that cctv can be installed. just look up the next time you take the lift. you'll see that there's circular plates at the corners. these's opening are there so that cctv camera can be installed. for braddel's studio flats. they have the tv mounted on the lift lobby at ground floor. so whoever is inside will be captured on the cctv screen. therefore it's possible to hv cctv installed but first there muz be sufficient reason to support this need

1st and 2nd point ok. but the 3rd one is a bit inappropriate. becoz they might feel pressured etc. then who knows wat might happen next

My wife was being "followed" by a guy last nite. On her way back home she saw this guy walking away from blk 91 but he made a U-turn back to blk 91 when he saw my wife. My wife then went to open the letterbox. it was about 1030pm at nite so logically there shd be at least one lift standby at 1st floor. but the wierd thing is that the lift just arrive in time when my wife was walking towards the lift lobby after opening the letterbox. then my wife walked into the lift first and the guy followed into the lift too(my wife shd have walked out of the lift and take the next lift). And upon entering the lift, he actually waited for my wife to press the level. And guess wat.... he's also going to the same floor as my wife. when the lift door open at the destinated floor he walked out of the lift first and made a right turn. my wife made a left turn and stop at the corridor near the lift to see where he's going. then that guy turn right and stop at the first unit after making the right turn and u-turn back to the lift and took the lift down. Seems like he's trying to see which unit my wife is actually staying at. This guy muz be up to no good but perhaps has no guts or opportunity to strike. Else who in the world will take a lift up only to take the same lift down from where he came from. unless he's nuts or trying to commit crimes. Not very good at describing so try to comprehend wat i'm trying to say. Here is the description of that guy. Chinese male ard mid-twenties, thin and slightly tanned. Wearing a long sports bottom and carries a badminton racket with a bag. Let's keep a look-out for this guy to prevent crimes from happening. Shall escort my wife next time she comes home after me. hey... u guys had problems with singnet before? i got a big problem with them before and really not very happy with them. here's the story i had my bad experience with singnet few years ago too. i actually called up singnet to cancel my internet connection(contract ended by then) right after signing up with starhub MOL then two weeks down the road... my singnet still not terminated and guess wat... after a month plus they slapped me with another bill to pay for the bill on top of the outstanding. as you can see, they took so long and yet my singnet internet connection wasn't terminated and they even asked me to pay another month's subscription. when i received the bill, i called singnet AGAIN to tell them to terminate my singnet account(note that i called them once beofre). then eventually they sent a few reminders, final reminder etc but i'm NOT WILLING to pay becoz it's their fault that they did not cancel my subscription the first time i called them. then this year when i wanted to sign up for a mobile line with singtel, they actually asked me to settle my outstanding bad debts and on top of that pay a deposit of $200. so i got fed up and walked off. eventually i emailed singtel and they did some investigation but eventually they still insist that i pay off my outstanding bill and $200 deposit. Got so ticked off by their reply and i emailed them that i shall never sign any singtel's services. i do not know if any of you had this kinda experience with singtel before. though singtel's promo is better compared to starhub but their after sales service and communication trail is really f**k up. just venting my anger

it depends on the type of games u wan to play. i've got nintendo Wii. can sell to you if u wan. It's more interactive becoz you get to exercise while you play. and it's very fun especially when playin in a group. can link up to 4players if i'm not wrong. you can come to my hse to try it too. but i only have a few games only.

i got my internet up finally. been living w/o internet for the past 3days in my new home. feel so lost. anyway, the technician didn't come up to my hse at all. i just connect my cordless phone and discover that... it has ringtone and can call. so i installed my singnet software and it works. but the letter actually says it'll be activated after 5pm. haha.... i agree with sakae sushi. starhub's coverage is inadequate, i hv to always walk to my door steps to get better reception else i would be saying "huh" most of the time.
