aiyah.... my current reno is no killer...old fashion but well maintain. i have to sell over half a mil to breakeven, who will buy my house ? hope some enblocker will... . i have no housing grant cos this is not my first hdb even though near my mummy house. taken a bank loan at a fix interest rate of 3.5 %just before the stock market clash and the fed reduce interest rate. Another wrong move. ... hello88. i have a problem where to put my altar, i am also a catholic, the FS said altar must face the door direction, any suggestion ? Junkay, share your reno ideas with me leh, i have that layout with a big squarish balcony with entrance from living and kitchen.. cannot extend from MBR , HDB will not approve. i want to make use of the balcony for a feel of outdoor dining area but dunno how to do it up cheaply

hi yoh.... about 80k.... very silly hor... although house is well maintence but the design is 8 years ago, so very old fashion.. even the marble floor has black cracked lines. actually quite a lot of buyers are offering the same price and the agent sell it to me because i promise to let him sell my current house. even so the agent is telling me that after i give my cheque there are people offering higher price than me. i think all these buyers are crazy like me to chase up the price. But hardly any people sell units there that's why the demand is so hot. a year ago, the unit on higher floor is selling 100k lesser.. but i was not wise enough to buy then... hai..... now hope property go up and up and up so i can sell at profit next year. fengshui say my facing is other direction , advise me to look for another property in the next few year. he never tell me how to correct the situation. ... one question, what can em owners do to thier window at corridor to avoid people peeping in but at the same time not seal/close the window so that the wind can flow through??

hello all, i just bought a EM is hougang and paid high high COV..will be getting my key in dec . Went to the law firm to sign some bank document today and the administrator actually commented that we are the first she seen to pay so much for a HDB.i feel so lousy the whole day .My husband try to make me feel better by explaining that the administrator has only been processing Jurong West Em that's why she never seen such high cov transaction. Haaaaa..still my heart is aching over my hard earn money. what worst is that the fengshui master said that the house facing is not suitable for our "8 character" he would not recommend we buy this house if he has seen it before we execise the OTP. Hate it... and very upset. Hai......live still go on... God has plan for everyone......... now looking for reno ideas that will cost cheap but looks expensive and durable .. cos i will rent it out after one year if all the badluck befall......
