Hihi, It's quite sad when ID promised the heaven during sourcing and then revert to their true colours during actual reno. My ID also falls short of expectation and I dun have the energy to argue with him too.. Now I just try to salvage whatever I can and also manage my own expectations lor. First time for me, so take it as learning. If there's a next time, I'll surely get a contractor instead... lol

Thanks kaki! Like all of a sudden, the skies are clear again. ID said cabinets are ready in these 2 days (laminates changed to new ones), platform and wardrobe skeleton also done.. then only need to customise my pole system. Got chance can handover by end of the month 😱

Is it too much? I was planning a normal lock though have seen digital lock on grill at Homefix. BUT will need to cater for space in between grill n door since 2 handles of the lock will be there...

My front gate - doorless... the backing are there after I ngiam my ID about it.. *rolleyes* On a brighter note: lights are up tmr.. electrician will come back another trip for replacement lights...

I think I told him mid Dec, dunno what happened midway lah.. irritating ttm. I know he's a one-man show and he has 3 other units to settle by CNY but I did ask him if he had time to take on my unit at the sourcing stage... oh well... I feel super insecure about the lack of door and my original gate also not very secured ! Haha! Maybe should camp there and be security guard...

Hiccups... my ID said my kitchen cabinets laminates are OOS 😖 so got to choose a backup. And they have removed my original main door but the new door is not ready yet. Seriously??? 💣

Hi ricepapergirl, I believe it's locking system but I wasn't there to see during installation. IMHO, al vinyls are similar in quality. My ID says the sales people in Evorich changed too often, so he prefers working with the usual ones like Inovar. I have my doubts on how waterproof some companies proclaim they are.. Inovar admits that theirs are water resistent only... but the most water resistent..
