  1. The drainage for each aircon shld go to the nearest drainage hole, eg if ur aircon is near to kitchen, it shld go directly there and not back to bedroom... what i understand lah... thats y the abandoned one should cut direct to toilet but will meant spoiling my tiles, so i bite the bullet and cut that one out. The bedroom one should be oppo my bed but for asthetic, shifted it to the bed side... you get the point lah
  2. Lux! I got a lot of comments! My house also short, thats why no ceiling fan! The gas reader, mine is humongous!! So have to hide in cabinet. As for the trunking, i wanted the 3rd aircon at the other side of the house but it will mean going through toilet and spoiling my tiles... so no go lor. Aiya, i think old hdb only we will understand the problems... working now so only can say so much... let me gather my thoughts... lol!. Psst, u can drop by and compare!
  3. Art, how come converge at bedroom? Isn't there another drainage?
  4. Art, why your cables so big? How many trunking in total? Coming from both sides of the room?
  5. KS, according to the staff, it's waterproof. I saw it during some expo and the staff splashed water onto the track and there was no short circuit. Pretty cool but I do not have so many appliances or space to warrant an eubiq.
  6. Hi Arturobinewski, mine looks neat cos I sacrificed location of aircon. If I stick to the normal route, I'm sure my bunch of pipes also will be big and ugly.. You never post the picture of your 'box'? Maybe can paint it in a pop colour, DIY some and transform it as part of your decor?!
  7. Hihi!! I wanted to say welcome to BP but realized you are alr staying here... Welcome to RT!! BP is not bad with the added 972 line recently..hahaha
  8. Hey Greg, the lovely pans hanger was introduced by you in your blog! can share where to get the copper string shelving? Thanks!
  9. Came across this lovely black chandelier and bought it... living room or bedroom... hmm..
  10. Ya! Shudders max... that's why I gave up one at the last min... hope yours go well!
  11. D+26: Aircon and electric wiring Bedroom where the compressor is.. Living room... I actually decided on a system 3 but due to the tricky trunking, last min decided to minus one aircon. The water output from compressor needs to go through kitchen to toilet... not sure if I can box this up, if not then have to live with it... Work in progress...
  12. Very 80's, identifying with all the features from childhood!!👍
  13. Ya, I saw the pans hanger as well.. anyone want to share shipping? The saddle stool so retro!
  14. Scarlett! Once tiles up, then can begin to see the picture better... exciting I hate the aircon cos resale flats have the most weird config, I just (really just) change my system 3 to system 2 becos of the ugly trunkings... Ps: are you staying in cck? Lol
  15. Real leather at $750? Hehe.. got so cheap meh? Now you are making me gian... from seahorse is it? The design of no.2 is quite interesting. No.3 is classic. If all things being equal, I would choose leather. Always long for a leather sofa Fabric does not mean more time to maintain, theres always vacuum n febreeze.. lol
  16. KS, so i apply HMA and I have a current data plan. So i log in HMA and surf the web using my data plan right?
  17. Thanks everyone for hearing me rant.. now reviewing my light plan, worse to worse just get some floor lamps for those dark areas. Ya..read abt tunneling might be not legal. I don't think will do that too. Likely go with normal casings or use skirtings to conceal (skirting was not part of the plan). Kitchen-wise, im looking at Ikea tracklights for hob area and shift the pendant light nearer utility room..
  18. Your colleague so thoughtful! I love happycall pan, I've abused mine so gonna get another one for my new place too!
  19. 14??? Are you having a light house? Lol. Toilet bowl confirm can fit in lah..lol Sealant is like base coat, makes it easier for further coats of paint. I changed my MBR entrance
  20. Hi Kara, thanks thanks! Just need it for referencing. P/s: after glaring at my ID, he finally said concealed wiring is to dig a hole in the wall and bury the wiring and that cost $100+ more per point!
  21. Lights!! My ID had actually gone through first round of lighting plan with me but I was still in pending mode, so I asked him to let me have the sketch to digest. A few days ago, I reminded him and he told me we can discuss today so that he can make the amendments. Today he brought the electrician and started briefing him the layout... I mean aren't we suppose to discuss first before we confirm?! I try not to shoot him down in front of the electrician but I can feel my face turning darker and darker... Angry! 😡 Another issue: I wanted to do conduit pipes initially but due to extra costs, I was hesitant. My ID just assume I'm going ahead as he briefed the electrician, and I had to put my foot down and said NO! Then he sprang another surprise and tell me he can do concealed wiring. I was like... wth is that? I asked him to explain but he just say he can do it. How do I make decisions if I don't even know what is it?? To cut the story short, I was really pissed off. I jyst told him to pass me the draft and I will amend. Back to lightings, by rough guide I need about 12 lights for my tinny house! 😱 My current 5 room don't even have that much.. Fellow 3-roomers, can share with me your lighting plan?
  22. D+22: Plastering is done and uncle is doing the sealant today! Some pictures to show the house's condition Living area My new water pipes! Bathroom with my petite toilet bowl and shower! Paint choosing time. I chose only two.. boring me!
