my sofa is not from ikea. its my old sofa from my parent's hse. i'm doing the cushion covers. its not the usual sofa seen now. it has 10 individual cushions to make up a 3+1+1 seater yup u shd be excited hehe. where is ur venue?

hazel.. how is the visit to the picket n rail union? got any gd deals? me reno soon ar.. duno leh.. now still deciding whether to get tat flat. tink reno shd be starting in dec or jan depending on when i get the keys !! christine! wow lovely pics! i also love a daybed like this. wonder can custom make onot if cant find in the market hehe. but then it wld be much more ex. ok if i see a similar one i shall tell u christine.. its not pretentious or funny to have a mock fireplace! both me and eveuloveme have thot of doing it!!! really! for a modern home, we shd be putting a wall mounted tv on top of the fireplace ba.. i even saw the fireplace at cottage crafts and the log tat can light up to make it look veri real. but then its not cheap. the log costs $450! and its a useless item,so i don tink i wld get tat, 450 i can get almost a chest of drawers from ikea hehe. but then i'm def considering the fireplace idea, see how my ID will be able to achieve it. maybe get some woodlogs from toys dept hahahah.. i guess eveuloveme will have stuffs to add!

i guess we all love woodpanelling huh hehe. i feel tat with woodpanelling, the hse sure looks country. easiest and surest way to get the look. i tink i die die will have it somewhere in my hse haha. then i might juz look at it everyday n hang ard near it hehe.

hi morghanjess i juz rem swensens also hv similar lamp as urs hehe but urs is nicer. maybe their decor doesn make their lamps stand out. wow not bad ma.. u got many things from jeremy. i do hope he doesn close down his other showroom till i get stuffs from him! IMM used to have many furniture shops but now all duno go where le. ya i thot of having woodpanelling.. looks fab! but maybe i'll do it in the living room only cos for bedrooms, the furnitures might cover up the panelling thus veri wasted. and normally ppl notice the living room more heheheh. and not cheap also if doing for whole hse. yup i'll def check with alvin when i get him to quote me don worry! wont say u get commission from him one! u're juz sharing ma wad do u mena by 2nd phrase of reno when u moved in? u mean u're gg to do this panelling when u do reno again isist? hey christine u did woodpanelling for ur hse also ar? really must go n see ur hse soon! heheeh ya i don mind cleaning the top part n the grooves.. juz for the look! really love it loads

ya walking is ard 10-15mins. my fren stays opp the new flats at st 64 and he says if we know how to walk, there is a straight road to JP, no need to cut thru hdb, twist n turns. my queue no is 14

hi morghanjess tks for the number! i don rem seeing another country style shop other than Eurosa when i went IMM last few weeks. shall call jeremy to ask where is the location b4 i go down again keke nope i haven talked to alvin yet cos i've not gotten my floorplan. i've juz gotten my queue no on fri! no 14!! so happy! heheheehh. now waiting for 1st appt to select flat then i will look for alvin with the floorplan gd to hear this workmanship is gd! so far is this shop's country style furniture teh cheapest? how much is ur bed huh? i saw a white wood one at cottage craft.. bed frame only costs $2800! bf wanted to faint when he saw how much i liek it. but i noe its impossible to buy such an expensive bedframe. then their bedhead is 1.8k and 2.5k. also not possible to buy. wanna know how much is urs, see if its affordable for us sure.. wadever contacts u have do share! much much appreciated. can do an open hse for u when my place is done! IMM quite near my place too hazel! and i love both ur sofas but i'm using my parent's.. cos its made of veri gd wood, juz need to send for repolishing n lacquer then i'm getting country style fabric for the cushions to achieve the look

hi.. sure.. will let u know when i'm doing reno hehe. will get alvin of baroque to quote too since he did country style b4 and he did it veri well for u! not many IDs know how to do country style, some don even understand wad i'm trying to say. is alvin's workmanship and service gd? ya lor.. i don wan modern/zen/jap home.. see liao veri sian cos everywhere is modern look.. 4 walls.. buildings etc. wan some relaxed cozy homey feel also hard, so my hse must be tat way! oh ya is the shop u got ur bedroom set at IMM at 02-85 still there? i tink IMM underwent reno, thus the furniture section changed. i went once last few weeks and don't tink i saw this shop. u have the number i can try to contact them? tks! how much is ur whole bedroom set of furniture? not too sure abt the diff types of country style.. will go check them out online hehe

SK's coral spring has nice name but too far for me. i'm currently at jurong area n i wanna live near my parents thus looking at JW hard to find flats for couples n i've a deadline.. my AD's in may 08. jialat ar.. haha

hey 1 thing i wanna ask u country lovers.. white furnitures are veri nice n suit the country theme but my dad n quite a number of frens mentioned tell me not to get white..say white is not lasting.. like maybe it will change colour over the yrs to yellowish? or get dirty veri easily, hard to maintain. anybody got advise/comments on this part? or is there certain type of material tat wont change colour so easily n easy to maintain one?
