hehehe, not a bad idea. My ID did give me an option of the wooden bed with metal legs, but I don't like the bed hahaha. Actually I kinda aim for the wooden bed before I talk to my ID, after the chat and we go for shopping, this is what happen. He show me the metal bed frame, so become a problem for me. He suggested that a metal will fit the mood of my room better, so I am sitting on the fence and will try to make decision soon. hehe, that is a very good idea. Thanks for the advice Luxe , be frank both I like that is why I put up the question and get advice from all of my Kakis here. So what I will do is I will go down to take a look of the bed this weekend and maybe I can make a decision by than. But you are right also, after a while u will not notice it that you have a mix match item in the area.

I been to Etch & Bolts before, yes the service is good. I agree with Luxe, as a big size man myself. I have to say their sofa is solid, and the foam they use can hold my weight very well. So maybe you did pay for the quality. So please don't feel so bad about it. Normally sofa is the 2nd furniture you spend most of your time with at home, so I do think it is ok to pay a bit more to get a better quality one.

Not too sure, but you might want to check on the extension cord, if is power overload you might also smell some like plastic burning smell. If problem continue please make sure you get someone to check it out ya.

I do like wood that is for sure, but the metal one go with the design better I think. Luxe, we have same taste, the wooden one look nicer for me as well. I wish to have more wood elements in my bedroom. But my designer keep remind me about the overall look of the house and wanted to make sure it go well with the bifold door. But I think I want to go down to take a look of the one at Grafunkt only can made up my mind. But again you are super details, I been using divan for years totally forgot about the benefit of having a hidden legs, so that bed frame have a plus point on top of the back and head rest. Thanks Luxe, the furniture buying process is really draining me now (as much as I enjoy shopping), because I don't seems to be able to complete the purchase. And because I wish I can move in before CNY (Just because I am too lazy to spring cleaning this current house), so I very worry things I want got no stock. The texture glass got no colour lah, I took the picture from google, so all the pic have have things as background to show a better detail of the texture. Btw need some advice from all of you, which bed frame look nicer?

wow that is lots of shoe storage space, but converting the recessed area as shelving is a very good choice. I still thinking should I custom made a shoe cabinet or not.

The side table growth on me, when I 1st saw it I don't like it but the more I see the more I like it. now is the hight that holding me back, I just worry it will be too low that don't make it look like a table rather than a stool

thanks for the compliment. But for me your house look super cosy and love those light colour. the bifold door I am not going to use clear glass and I am going for something with textured, so this is the glass will be used on the door. can't wait to see how that will turn out.

Day 64 - Another shopping day Today is "I am very broke" day, took a day off and went shopping with my ID, ​At the beginning I was thinking today I can settle most of the item for the house, but all of the kaki who completed their house know this is mission impossible. But after 5 hours, I only manage to paid for a sofa and coffee table. Sofa - In the end I went to blfink and ordered a customise sofa, I also requested to wrap the high density form with down feather so I can nua at the sofa. So if everything go smoothly I should be getting the sofa by end of Jan. Coffee Table - After visited lots of furniture store, in the end I still prefer the one I saw few weeks back at the shophouse, so I went down to make the payment today, and I am lucky that I manage to get the last piece. Arm Chair - Finally decision is Hai Chair by Luca Nichetto, but when I reach the shop wanted to make payment the shop close on Monday, so I have to go down again to make payment. Bed frame - Been eyeing one bed frame from the shop Original, is a very slimline bed frame made by teak wood, went down to the shop but I feel that they really not interested to do business with me, so I walk out. Not only that, my ID trying hard to ask me to go for a black or dark colour metal frame, so that can bland better with the room bifold door. So I have to KIV the bed frame till later date. Side table - The last stop today is at Crate and Barrel, currently they are having a store wide 20% (except sales item). After spending nearly about 1 hour there, go through all the rug they have (super expensive) but in the end we short listed one side table for the living room. Both of us agree that with the sofa and coffee table the whole living room will look a bit rectangular, so we want to have something to break the shape, so in the end both of us love this side table (with the brass colour that will go well with the coffee table, and if need sitting place this can work as a stool too). but because it is only 4cm higher than my coffee table, we are a bit unsure how it will turn out if I put right next to my sofa. So we can only KIV this. But later today when I research and C&B website I found there is another side table will work too, so I will give them a call and see do they bring the colour that I want in, so I will have another option.

The OLED is for sure a very beautiful TV, and $3099 and less additional $188 is a super good deal. If you should the budget you really should go for it, I hold it back just because is really out of my budget liao. My current 42" and 32" Samsung TV still working real fine actually, but just wanted a bigger screen for movie as not going to have a TV in my bedroom so I am looking at the cheapest option I can go for. Just because with some connection, I can get a much better deal with Sony and I think the TV is ok as I been watching it at my friend's new place so I decided to go for it.

But I rather when you invite all the RT kakis for your house warming than I just bring teas for you and try to watch TV and see how. But I think I will just go for the Full HD at this point of time, since don't have much 4K content currently so I think I can save some cost also lah

hmm, now I wonder what happen, maybe I should go back and try again with some other Blu Ray title. to be more exact, is when I play the blu ray on location, I have to say not pixelated, should say I can see lots of noise in the graphic (something like when you take photo in a very low light condition) I tried one 4k unit at Harvey Normal store while test out the sound bar one more time with my blu-ray. So some issue that I see lots of noise in the picture. Frankly if i have a choice with budget I think I will go with the OLED, but I get a very good price at Sony most likely will get a Sony. But with Kara and your comment, I have to rethink should I add a bit more to get a 4K model. But really have to test run it again.

I also have the same problem, can't imagine and see the bigger picture. In the end I just have to trust my ID suggestion. You also can go to EDL website http://edleuro.com to check it out and try to give them a call, they can sent you a bigger size sample. I did that and I got some of the sample that I want. If you want I got almost the full set of sample from Lamitak that come with a cute bag, If you want I can pass it to you. But this come with a smaller piece.
