  1. wow there is lots of carpentry works in your house, look forward for the update.
  2. yeah! so you also move into the next phase of your renovation. Congratulation I notice lots of people here go to Tampoi Lighting, keep up update and take some photo to share share ya.
  3. haha, yes is excited! Peiseh, "Ang Mo Bo Ho" do excuse my spelling and grammer error. Yep they are good, but you always need to give them more times, This is what I read of one of the blog here http://www.renotalk.com/forum/topic/52851-the-experience-our-first-home/so I am mentally prepare. As I am not rushing to move in to the new unit, so I give them time to come out with plan, but this always means I need to pay a few more months of rent.
  4. Decision Making - ID Confirmation Finally sent out the thank you email to all the designer I met for the past 1 months and inform them that I am not going to engage their service (feel bad, as I know they did put in effort on the work) Throughout the entire month of July, after meeting numbers of designer, which all of them presented me a good, creative and beautiful layout plan. I finally made up my mind and decide to work with Artist Room. The decision made are purely because the chemistry I have with them, and I really appreciate they actively listen to my needs and wants during the meeting. And presented a layout plan which I think is going to be very functional for my day to day life and habits. So now I am waiting for next meeting to see what mood they going to propose, I am so excited. (finger CROSS)
  5. yep, I know you are eyeing it as well I hope by the time I make up my mind and ready to buy they still have the collection that I like.
  6. Thanks for stopping by. Yep I love the bed frame unless I see something I really love it if not I will be settled with this one. The greyish table is actually a coffee table with uneven distress wood.
  7. Peishe, typo typo is suppoe to be etch & bolts. http://www.etchandbolts.com I got a copy of their e-catalogue, if you want i can email to you just pm me your email address
  8. I have to agree Crate & Barrel price tag are on the high side. Kinda like one of the sofa bed but it cost over $4000. For CB2 when I tried on some of their furniture, it I feel that their quality is not as good as Crate and Barrel (Maybe because I am too fat). The bed frame from Fanttique look nice, maybe I should make a trip down as well to check out see is there anything that I would like. Thanks for the tips
  9. Shopping Day Another shopping day for me, visited Castlery & Etc&Bolts. Just look at my phone, I walked over 10km today. These are my experiences at both shops Chastlery : Lots of display, the traffic is kinda high when I am there. But the staff are very friendly and very helpful. Keep on checking with us do we need any help but not in that annoying way. Etch&Bolt : Small show room, but you can see some of the sofas which are available on the online store there. The lady who serve me (after press the door bell for 3 times) is friendly and busy change the different firmness cushion for me to try on For them I strongly advice to make an appointment before go down to visit to make sure they have the item you want is there at the pop up store. Didn't commit anything as this point of time, just wanted to get an idea where can I find things that I like. Shortlisted some item today.
  10. have to agree with you, better pay for the quality. Singapore furniture price is sooooo expensive. Wonder how long of roti I have to eat after move in to my new house. Decided to use the 4 years old washing machine and dryer to cut some cost.
  11. love the grey one as well. But with that price tag btw Bro you always have expensive taste
  12. welcome welcome, all the best on your renovation. We all need lots of luck.
  13. The experience is pleasant, but with a small team you need to give them more times to come out with the plan and design. During the meeting I notice that they actively listen on words and request that I mention and work accordingly. As on this point this is my experience with them so far. Hope this helps.
  14. I will make a trip to go check out their price. Thank you very much!
