    I waiting for the installation of the glass sliding door to the WIW.. i think the effect will be nice. open both side glass sliding door... sound fun and cool too bad I cant make automatic door.. too costly and not ideal for home use...

    I think must give credit to the uncle who paint it... He one person show sia.. and every day he stay till 7 -8 plus then leave the house.. He really paint well and careful. Respect. Before he paint, he make sure areas that are not suppose to be paint are covered with masking tape and he will plaster and sand the entire wall first to check for foreign objects or previously left cement or dirt. This way he do not need to do additional works to make good those area that are accidentally painted.

    contractor are more pro then ID. but the only thing is dont expect them to whatsapp you update every day Its just not their way of doing things.

    you can still paint it grey. Actually i was just testing.. I told my ID if the effect turn out not to my liking.. I will ask his painter to repaint back to white.. haha.. He say ok and no extra charges So far my ID he is really nice, maybe because its machiam like close relative relationship, so a lot of minor cost, he will absorb for me

    Because there is a beam from the two bedroom and my ID did a L box on both side to run cove light to make it more cosy and appealing hard to explain haha.. When the full thing is in, I will take picture and show you all.. A picture speaks a thousand words Its for Cove lighting its my cosy spot actually.. when the actual thing complete i will show you all.

    Nope nothing is grey already My sofa is black with red design haha It automatic recliner seats and both side come with in build cooler (with green/blue led - super nice), I can place my cup there and the water will be cool.. no need ICE.... its a custom make sofa to the level of hardness and material My house main theme color is Black, Red, White (This 3 is primary color) and 30% grey (secondary color) Might have another 10% variation color of green

    Actually to be frank, ID and contractor are the same group of people. Its just a different way of calling. People think that ID are more atas.. but contractor are also slowly moving towards the designing element. The ID I got, he is also more of a contractor, but he is so nice that he will ask for my opinion before actually commence the work. So far, his group of workers are also very efficient. Every time when there is something that need to be improved, he will give me appropriate solutions. I know that most people will think that by hiring a ID, the ID are suppose to do everything for us. That is why they are more expensive in term of cost and labour. However, to be frank again, I dont think one should give 100% freewill to the ID to do up the house or design the house. End of the day, its our home and only we know what we want and what we dont want. The ID/contractor will never be able to give us 100% of what we want. If you are talking about architect, they have the necessary qualification to design and built, thus they are the expert to build any home from scratch. Those ID, where got need cert.. Anyone can just go and work at a ID company and called themselves Interior Designer.... hai....

    The ceiling really turn out very nice when view in real life. I was kinda worried initially cause I took a great leap of faith to do that. I hardly find any Singapore home with picture online who does that. Haha when my Philip Hue DIY led light strips is installed.. Lets see the effect then Next week, all the lighting will be up.

    I wanted to paint the whole master bedroom that color, but grey is a cosy color.. I scared later too cosy with aircon.. I sleep until forgot to wake up and go to work.. Later late ho sei liao....

    yes its going to be repaint, that time only paint the master bathroom big pcv pipe first because its going to be box up. For the common toilet, I am not boxing it up so will only paint it at a later date The current color of the big pvc pipe at the common toilet looks ...... ugly ugly ugly...

    Today the Eubiq site measurement guys came to take measurement. The initial package i brought was 4m track, End up now I need to top up additional 2m The kitchen too big liao.. both side with cabinet and also a track for study room Oh, My Id brought me the glass backsplash sample already. Nice Prefect match with the red cabinet. Kudos to my ID, he is really PRO oppps My hand is inside the picture

    Renovation Journal (Daily) - Day 37 The grey are in I really loves the Grey ceiling... Its a good decision. The effect is super nice and cosy And tata... My bathroom toilet bowls for both master and common are installed The master bathroom going to look like a hotel bathroom soon.... i hope haha

    One major change of mind..... remember i say i only installing the digital lock on my main door only. Yesterday, i decided to do it for the gate as well. Hai, so flickerminded of me. cause i feel the ugly conventional gate lock spoilt the entire door and gate feel... Anyway since the digital lock can use the same card / pin access, so its not that troublesome afterall.

    Blum for those drawers are not that expensive. 50 buck for one drawer (1 pair) is kinda ok for a long term investment, at least its proven to be much more durable then the conventional type.
