    Sis Kara end the of the day, its the place you call home and you should do whatever you like all of us can only share our choices but its not important. What important is you and your hubby likes it and its something your heart truly goes toward. For me, so far i like all the things i choose for my home and the reason is simple cause its my home.

    Lol yes my id told me that also. Haha. I visit their booth at expo. They giving offer at 6.50 psf. Lol.. cause i think those people never hired id or contractor. They just want to replace their flooring. Btw the evorich flooring is lay and installed by their own worker. Not by the id or contractor worker.

    It should be 110 also my id also getting from LH. They have two series. The one i getting is 110 pfr. The other series is 130 pfr.

    My id told me even the herf flooring they take from the evorich is way cheaper then you get it from their roadshow at those furniture show.

    I do my i- quartz at 110 pfr. Not that ex. Why those people quote u so expensive. I do both side kitchen, old 4rm hdb has a bigger kitchen area, total i do 19ft. Only about 2k. Some of the previous id i went, they quote me 130 to 150 pfr for i-quartz. 2.3k for how many foot? Your kitchen counter top exceed 19ft? And after doing some research online, solid top is not about staining, its about its easily scratch and chip off, in kitchen sure got heavy ware and knifes, so higher chances for scratches and accidentally chip off if something drop on the countertop. Countertop is not totally bad, if not why will there still be market for it. But just personal preference, if i see scratches or chip off, i will feel heart pain de.     Actually u can try its not hard to change counter top anyway haha. Its next time you want to change to other also can de. Overseas, they mainly use granite countertop if i am not wrong... from HGtv haha

    You must take note that the testing is done on a small piece. When its the whole big piece, if anything spill over, it will be on a bigger surface area and thus it will become much more obvious. If you are cooking very often, solid top might not last very long. When i say it dont last very long, i am refering to the condition of the counter top, it will look dated and ugly. Unless you really maintain it very well. If one dont mind that after 1 or 2 years the counter top look like old and dated, it should be ok

    Nowadays, matress fitted sheet is no longer like it was in the past, manufacturer now make a lot of different sizes for different matress in term of the depth of the matresses. So looking for a fitted sheet is a breeze nowadays.

    Maybe you can try magix koil queen size its super nice and cosy when i test it at the showroom, i bought mine for 2.1k including a storage bed frame. It was having an offer, original price for the mattress was 4k plus. Magix koil is make in Singapore and thus i trust its quality, my previous place i use Dunlopillo matress, its good as well. Once its deliver over to my house when renovation is complete, i will post photo of it.

    Nope, i find it no point, i wont open much of the full height cabinet. Drawers is something it will be very frequent use.

    For me, end of the day, i make my own space planning, most of the id i went, they can do space planning ncely, but ultimately, i am the one staying there and i think i will the one best to know what space i need and want.

    I only do for the drawers lol, those door type i use normal de, as long as got soft closing can already.

    Renovation Journal (Daily) - Day 38 Today, the herf flooring for the 3 bedrooms all in. Nice. Painting for the whole house complete

    Renovation for the house is every day and ongoing as long as you are staying at the place you call home. This t-blog is suppose to be this way. I see many thread just end there after their id/contractor handover to the owner. Sure there will new items or ideas added along the way to share knowledge with one another.
