    Really like the kitchen clean and sleek look. Looks so atas. Initially i also want a mostly white theme, but my cousin ask me to go something bold ( red / black / white ) Since i want a modern theme, these 3 colour fits the bill. With the gold handle, the end result will sure be amazing.

    The evorich herf flooring is very good actually. Compared with parquet (wood), normal vinyl flooring, the evorich vinyl herf dont have those empty sink in feeling. It felt solid and comfortable.

    Yap tml both of them coming to see what can be done. My id/contractor is the boss of his company. And the tiles company , the director is my id/contractor friend and thus he is also coming personnally to see.

    Have been very detailed. Lol, every day i sure go the house without fail and any defect or mstakes, i straight tell my id/contractor and he will rectify for me. So that when officially handover, it will be good.

    But every renovation sure got its problem... My problem is my living room tiles.. Not sure why after the Acid wash, the entire living room white tiles got a **** lots of watermark.. and its soak into the tiles.... I check the internet, its mineral deposits... Will be meeting the boss of both company to discuss on this matter ( tiles and my ID/contractor). See the picture below, the big patches of water mark very obvious during day time..... Its the entire living room floor tiles..

    The whole process from Buying a house and looking for a ID/contractor and also renovating has really shorten my lifespan.... SUPER STRESSFUL and TIRING>>>

    Renovation Journal (Daily) - Day 44 (Night View) Just visit the place after work, the earlier photo were take by my cousin. Went to take in the night time. really nice View from kitchen to the living room Living room with the cove ambient light Cove ambient light (without camera auto light correction) With Camera Light enhancement Master bedroom to the walk in wardrobe and a mini storeroom (don't waste the space for walkway) Walk in wardrobe Mini Storeroom (actually kinda big - instead of wasting it as a walk way if initially did a 1 1 Horizontal walk in wardrobe)

    I check on all the laminate opening and make sure there is no chip off laminate and the cabinet shelves and position are correct, there are times when the alignment are out and i will straight infd my id aka contractor Mr Lim, and he will infd the carpentry guy and rectify it.

    My id charge me 200 for the additonal work and pvc pipe. The p tray toilet bowl i pay 650. The erect low wall to hide the pvc piping is 400 with tiles

    For me. I did a full glass sliding door open to both side for my open kitchen. See my id 3d design. With clear glass i still have that open concept view. I also will be cooking a lot and i dont want the oil or smell go over to the living room and bedrooms.

    actually I was kinda surprise that many of the newer ID/contractor don't have much knowledge on their work. During my selection of the IDs, there are some ID company which i went, they cant even tell me the difference between different type vinyl flooring.. They can just answer me.. its all the same.. just water resistance... but guess what the evorich HERF flooring is not only water resistance, its suppose to be water proof as well. Water resistance and water proof is not the same. Even for vinyl flooring, there are many different types on the market.. They are definitely not the same and not only one type...... If the ID/contractor don't even bother to do their homework and research, I don't think I will feel safe to handover my house to them for renovation. Nowadays internet is such a powerful tools, use goggle and you can find many answer and solution, although not necessary all will be true and correct, at least its serve as a guide and possible answer.

    It can be done as what i have explain before amazing quite a lot of new id or contractor dont know how to do it. My id, his company has been around since the 1980s. I believe previously his company is just a contractor and over years it has become an ID, but to be frank, id and contractor are the same. Unless you compare with architect, then its different.

As long as one dont meddle with the structural slab of the wc and walls or relocating the orginal piping of the wc, it will not be of any issue. Its just a matter of using different connector wc and extra pvc piping to connect to the exisiting piping build by HDB No waste pipe is conceal under the flooring. And concealing waste or water pipe within the structural slab/wall. This is not allowed in HDB rules. What my ID did was just to use additional PVC pipe and connect to the original waste pipe, and then build a low hollow block wall to hide the additional PVC pipe. Like I mentioned before, a lot of ID will tell their customer they cant do it because if they never do a proper waterproofing at your toilet, it might become an issue in the future. As long as the works are properly carried out, and waterproofing testing is done and passed. Extract from HDB rules on renovation Types of Work Subject to the Following Guidelines/ Conditions *Concealed waste/ water pipes in floor finishes/ wall Floor slab and wall must not be tampered with*Such work is discouraged as it may cause water leakage to lower floor unit if the work is not properly carried out. Extract from HDB renovation website on erecting walls Below is the image to explain how its works The waste pipe was not conceal at all within the floor slab, floor tiles and original wall and wall tiles. hope the pictures explain everything. If one decided to relocate their wc using the above method, please ensure your id/contractor to make sure that the workmanship is good and the connector is secure properly, if not later s*** might come out... This is how the whole picture looks

    haha. Must see the overall feel when my sofa and tv are installed. btw the tv i brought is not philips. Its Sony Since its an andriod tv, i can most prob access google play store and install the hue controller apps as well. Finger cross haha.
