The tub batbroom wont have a wc? To have a bigger and whole piece of glass to the ceiling will have a better effect. -

Its already beautiful haha, just my two cents thought, haha with whole piece of glass, the toilet space will be enlarge, our country like to build small toilet. I see HGtv, those toilet are big and spacious. -
For a 4rm resale, if you are intending to hack almost every hackable wall, changing the entire house floor and wall tiles, and carpantry for living room, kitchen and other design, water piping and electrical rewiring for whole house and also changing the entire house windows, doors and gate, it could easily reach budget above 50k to 80k, just for a 4rm. So for a EM to do a entire overhaul will easily cost 80k and above. You can check out my blog on this forum and see how much i have hack, reposition wall position by building new wall using hollow block wall. Changing almost everything i could in the house. The cost of just renovation is already above 60k excluding funishing.

If the wall beside your tub is a whole piece mirror, it will make the whole toilet feel bigger right? Like hotel style. -

Corner unit not necesary to have fired rated door. Anyway the fire rated door also can burn through just that its suppose to hold for at least 30 minutes more.... just for this feature.. its another 500 to 700 more for a door. -

For me, i understand a good contractor or id will try to help the customer save on cost, however sometimes for the theme of the house to blend, i still insist the nicer option to proceed. There goes the same for other type of installation example laying of the fiber cable.. Earlier, they came and laid the cable, intially he die die want to go from another direction, however i insist that he should run the other way cause my id has already laid the trunking for the fiber cable. Some thing has to be insisted cause from what i understand, some contractor or id will ask you not to do certain thing not because its much more costly to do, its just that they find it harder to do it based on their capability or resources. To make their job easier and a better profit margin, they will give any reason to say its bad. A good contractor or id will ask the owner opinion and give him or her the option to do or not, not insisting on sure can do or cannot do. My id so far, he helps me to save cost on unnecesary stuff and if there is any works that can have a better design, he will ask me first and we will discuss the pro and con of each solution, the final decisiom power lies in me. This is how a good contractor or id should represent. A lot of extra work was found during the past few week, but he did not charge me additional for it, he absorb those cost, example for the flooring, since its a 30 over years old flat, they need additional floor screed to make the floor even. It just a matter how much they want to set their profit margin. Ultimately, they already earn a lot from all these renovations. -

Yes, that will be good, one of ID i went, the id say the boss got a new system for quotation, dont need to include the information like the material use or dimension, this way the quote can be cheaper, however when i request for detailed information, they price increase by nearly 10k

Most people go for laminate, if paint although the cheapest, however most of veneer has a layer of coating, if you paint over it will not really be nice. Unless your id got his way of painting the door to make it look lasting and amazing. -

Mine was 3 trip lol.... only need to pay for 2 trip. 1st is for site survey 2nd lay the cable and piping 3rd install compressor and fancoil This is due to the fact that i basically hack the entire house and most of the wall and reposition the wall by using hollow block wall and whole house re-wiring. This causes a lot of patching work as well. In order for a seamless design and easier for painting works. -
Choosing an Id is not an easy job, make sure in your quote, they list down every bit of information, example the dimension, the type of material use, the type of finishing, it should be as detailed as possible. Some of the ID will say, no need to be so detailed... if too detail, they cant charge you cheaper, cause they will say by not putting every detail on paper, they can help to close one eye if the final results needs additional cost.

Its quite easy to buy the bed linens nowadays, they have ready stock for almost any size in term of the height and length of the matress. Its not like last time when they sell only certain dimension of standardise linens.

Wow, enjoying the bathtub soon... haha, my aircon piping going to be run tomorrow, only the piping.... a later date then install the aircon fancoil unit. -
You can shift the position by changing the connector type. There are the p type and s type connector, sure can be done, you must buy the type of wc which will have to suspend and install to the wall and must create a allowance for the water tank to be install. The cost of such wc normally will be higher then those normal type by 300 to 500 dollars in price. Cant increase the floor height, there is a guideline to follow. And wc waste pipe are not allowed to be concealed under the floor tiles. Its kinda hard to explain but once the actual thing is install, i will post photos to show how its done. A picture speak a thousand words.
