    For your tap and shower set, the more tick means the water coming out is lesser and thus actually you might spend more water on bathing or washing due to lower water output. If you buy those with one tick, you can still control to have maximum water flow or minimum water flow using the handle.

    Renovation Journal (Daily) - Day 34 The kitchen area tiles is all up and patched. Washing of the kitchen in preparation of kitchen carpentry next week. Its a saturday, so no reno works was done, but i still include it as a reno day because its kitchen washing day

    If people want to break in. 1 or two lock does not matter anymore. Anyway digital lock is just for convenient. Its not 100% foolproof. Even if i only install a digital lock on the main door. I can still lock my gate with a key. I just need to bring out one key instead of two keys. But like i say if everyday you or your loved one are at home after work everyday. It should be fine. At night if you worried, u can always manually lock the gate.

    Only if you going overseas then u maybe can physically lock the gate. Normal day sure got people at home as in daily will have people at home. So digital lock on the main door should be good enough.

    Most people dont lock the maingate nowadays. Where got people go and try to open the gate when its in a closed position

    Actually there is this combi door in Singapore. Initially wanted to install it, but final decision decide to drop it cause the door gate system door is starting at a price of 1799, basic door. If want nicer design it start from 2199, excluding the single digital lock, price 999 for the samsung 718. Total for a combi door plus digital lock is about 3100. If budget permits, can consider this solution, only one company in Singapore can do it. A normal door (non fire rated) and a wrought iron gate cost 700 to 1000 Plus the samsung p718 of 999. Total = 1999

    For me I decided to make away with the front gate digital lock, I find it kinda funny to need to open 2 digital lock just to get into the house. For the gate, most people do not actually lock it nowadays also. not only need to open two time, in the sense of changing battery and power consumption, Both Door and gate digital lock will have different power consumption and thus the battery life of each equipment will be different.

    Renovation Journal (Daily) - Day 33 Today, the living room special tile has been replaced Now it looks the same throughout the whole house The Master bedroom and walk in wardrobe are screed and master toilet tiles are up as well. Still got patching works to be continue Btw there is a hammer left near the water drainage area in the master bathroom.. I think Thor came to use the toilet and forgot to take it away haha

    Same model samsung p-718. However i choose the silver one although i like the rose gold more but my house theme colour os black white and red.

    The quotation must be as detailed as possible, example with the dimension and material provided and the cost of the per feet for carpentry. The cost of psf tiles max price, most set at 3dollar before gst. Some id will say that if they list down too detail, the price will also go up cause they cannot help customer to absorb cost if its too detailed. Anything on the quotation, they cannot shortchange the customer or use alternative solution. There is pros and cons. But for me, i prefered everything to be in detail so that i know what is the actual cost of renovation be like. Instead of later part. A lot a hidden cost and exceed the budget. With everything written in full detail, you will know what is the true cost of renovation and you can then adjust your budget using that by removing some items or use alternative material or solutions.

    Renovation Journal (Daily) - Day 32 Master Bathroom bottom wall built and preparing for tiles placement maybe tomorrow. (This is how the replacement of the WC design) Kitchen minor area wall tiles near the windows top and bottom part also placed. Today Went down to see the living room tiles, then saw that there is one particular tiles which stand out from the rest. Only one which looks grey. I have asked the tiler to change it. And they are doing the grouting for the living room. Its very obvious right? Whole living and dining area is white tiles except this particular one which looks grayish.......

    Renovation Journal (Daily) - Day 31 Common/Study room screed completed, My ID told me it need to rest in for at least 5 days before the HERF flooring can be placed. At the mean time after all the room complete screeding, then they will commence painting while waiting for the 5 days period. The Entire living room floor tiles and skirting also laid except the grouting

    For me, its my house and irregardless if i am staying for 5 years or more, within this 5 years i will want my house to be cosy and something i look forward to be at after a hard day at work. No one know what will happen in the future, a house is something that dont run away. Its a place that i can find shelter with so i will do it up nicely and within my means. For me as long as i am able. I will work and money can be earned back.
