I bought mine from OM. They have squarish or rectangularish versions. They also have totally transparent or totally black too. You can find them from OM direct or from Lifestorey. They are around 600 plus I believe.

Stylish Dustbin Or Rubbish Bin To Put At Home. Where To Buy?
JIN replied to Megadeth's topic in Home Furnishings
I was going to get Brabantia too intially. In the end, after several much internet reading and research ... I went with Simplehuman. Nothing against Brabantia, just that Simplehuman's design are very simple and very nice. They have lots of features, although its only a dustbin. For example, the ones I love most is its soft close, meaning it closes very slowly ( for middle sized trash cans onwards ) and can stay totally open too if you lock it. 2nd fav function is you can tuck your plastic bag / liner inside an internal bin where you cannot see the plastic bag / liner at all when the lid is closed. Then they also have fingerprint proof finishing too. No, it does not download your fav songs / mp3s though. So far, only Howard Storage and Homefix / DIY stores carry SimpleHuman. -

You can try Parisilk at Holland Village ( Near to Food Junction ). They have the cheapest Dyson I could find. -
Any Dry And Wet Vacuum Cleaners To Recommend?
JIN replied to ahberden's topic in Electronics & Electricals
If money isn't an issue, I would recommend a Dyson. I bought a cheap one as I didn't care too much. I think only around 60 - 70 dollars from NTUC. However, when I went to buy extra bags ... I realised they charged like 5 bags for like 10 dollars. We vacuum really often ( worse if you have dogs ) ... so you can imagine buying loads of bags! So please do put cost of vacuum bags into consideration. I think this is the case of penny wise pound foolish. I wished I could have saved the money and get a dyson in the first place. -
I also thought that Hansgrohe is more premium brand. But do some research on both of them ... and you will see that Grohe is significantly more expensive than Hansgrohe.

Ventilation Exhaust Fan Installation For Toilet ?
JIN replied to tientien's topic in Plumbing & Electrical Works
I am not too sure about this ... but I hope this can help. I have the 8" KDK ventilation fans for both of my toilets. However, in my MBR one, I can feel it alot stronger than my common toilet. When I asked my contractor how come, he told me because my common toilet door is very big ... so there is very little air coming into the toilet, thus making the ventilation fan sucking power a little weak. However, in my MBR toilet, there is almost 3/4 foot gap ontop, making it very easy for air to flow in and easy for the air to flow out. I think what he was trying to say was there should be appropriate gap for sufficient air to flow in, in order for the ventilation fan to be maximised. Not too sure if contractor is smoking me or not ... but he is arranging for my toilet door to be trimmed ... so I hope it works. -
Yeah. You should get a router, would recommend Linksys. You will need a splitter for your SCV point. Don't worry. Starhub normally will provide a 2 way splitter in all their items. So from your SCV point, connect to splitter which will split into 2 wires ... 1 to your SCV cable box ( to watch tv ), and another one to your router. From your router ... you will run individual lan wires to those data sockets which you have taken pix. Then you are all set already. So if all those run and setup properly, your house will be like office! Can just plug and play and have ready internet access. Thats how I ran my own house lan / wireless system. Except for I don't have your nice nice box. I had to buy my own cables, get the contractor to run them and set them up.

Those Data sockets should be the Lan Cables. However, I think they will most probably give us Cat 5 cables, which are good for 10/100 speed. The fastest at the moment is Cat 6 which is 10/100/1000. But unless you get the correct Lan Card / Router, there is no additional point for Cat 6.

After comparing both brands for several weeks, I actually think Grohe is more exp than Hansgrohe. Of course you cannot take the entry model Grohe stuff and compare with the higher range Hansgrohe. That won't be fair. I was deciding both brands for a very long time ... in the end, I went for Grohe as I liked the brand better. In any case, both are great brands and you can't go wrong with either of them, just your individual preference.

Hi people. Was just wondering if any of you have any contacts for stainless steel for the Kitchen Blacksplash? I have tried the internet but with limited success only. Thanks, Jin
