sorry for the late reply coz i missed out on ur posting.... my marble problem is mainly due to the scratches caused by the marble-polishing machine as well as efflorescence problem.... big big headache

I think I need to look for replacement for the washer base le, coz u guys got a point here... dun tink the base will be strong enough for the washer.

ya loh, cost cutting wor... and another thing is dun wan to restrict ourself on choices when we wan to change our washer next time.

hmmm... I guess once in a while I will clean the kitchen by splashing water and give the tiles a good "scrub", that y I need to level-up the WM and fridge loh.

there will be another round of polishing tomolo. haiz... this flooring really caused big headache for us and yeak as well. i think yeak don't dare to take on any more marble flooring work after this. i placed bricks under the WM bcoz I did not build a base for it so i need to use 4 brick as a substitute so that the metal legs wun get in touch with the water when i m washing the kitchen floor.

wah... tat is nice... but will it be too big for a base.... hmm tink i can ask yeak where can I find this type of construction materials

We can't find the old-type of stone support for our fridge and washer and we dun like those plastic one that are selling outside. When we are discussing with my parents on other alternatives, an idea strike my mom's mind.... And this is our half-DIYed washer and fridge base. The toilet door is from Wellmax. From what I heard from Mark, this is his first time doing a all-red bi-hold door. I din have any catalog for reference at tat time, I just empathize to him that I want the bright shade of red. Price is $168 with installation for top track bi-hold door

I not too sure leh coz i asked the electrican to fix it for us... but on the website they have a installation slide leh. may be u wan to check out the slides first before u buy.

I bought the energy saver switch from Choo Chiang, can't remember the actual price but it is around $25. It works like a timer switch for the storage heater.
