I tinking of buying some oil painting from there too, saw a few nice one during their last sale. nvm nvm... i will go there again on their next sale then i will take pict of the sofa lah... provided it is still on display

Furniture not in yet... My dad one man show now, guess he should be able to complete it in another 2 wks bah... but my sofa from Wihardja wun be in so fast, expected delivery might be in Oct 09.

Ai ya, this neighbour is really one of a kind --- full of craps!!! Prior to this complain, they did make another complain b4 to HDB when the hacking was taking place... They complained to HDB that the worker are hacking the kitchen wall tiles too hard which is somehow causing her cabinet to drop... another ridiculous one... even the HDB officer was abit "pasi sei" when she was informing me of their complain...

ya, it is mounted on the wall with 2 legs at the front but the main support is from the wall. I guess during cleaning, more or less there will be some water splash on the cabinet... abit unavoidable bah... nvm lah...

I find the prices frm Ban Kim Chuan are quite competitive as well, u can just call in to check the prices at 6443 5298 and if u are ok with their pricing u can confirm ur order on the phone and pay upon delivery.

wah!!! if my shoe cabinet is missing, i noe where to go and find it liao...

Talking abt shoe cabinet, i received a call from my town council saying tat my neighbour complain to them that my shoes cabinet is a safety hazard coz it is on 2 legs and suggest tat i installed another 2 more legs for stability... tis is the most ridiculous thing i even heard... Asked the officer which era is he living in to still believe that a table must have 4 legs... I told the officer that i have mounted the cabinet on the wall with 2 heavy-duty screws and no way it will fall unless the wall bulit by HDB collaspe... i even invited him to go and sit on my shoes cabinet and judge for himself whether it is stable and firm... This officer told me that owners are not suppose to drill any holes on the wall oustide the area of our flat and I asked him that since his concern is abt safety, which one is safer - wall-mount or 4 legged especially the corridor flooring is uneven... In the end, he say he will seek his manager approval and keep us informed. Told him that if they insist on a 4 legged cabinet, I will install the extra 2 legs and remove the screws and if one day the cabinet falls, it will not be my responsibilty as I m following town council advise

orrhhh... i dun think there will be anyone who wan to steal our smelly shoes lah any way, my dad added a lock to it so tat is not a concern liao. As for stealing the shoes cabinet, it is almost impossible wor coz the cabinet is mounted to the wall for support.

After work, I immediately head down to Mega Discount@Novena to confirm our fridge order. We managed to get quite a good offer for <$1.2k with $50 NTUC voucher and delivery will be this coming sat.

Nothing much to update for the past week. The carpentry works are held up as marble polishing was not to up to our expectation so got to wait for them to redo it. Big big headache on tis Wrought iron gate has been installed, shoe cabinet also installed. Will post the picture tonite

ya, we wanted a color which will brighten up our mood when we return home. any way, all the other walls are in white... only this orangy small and my ang ang kitchen have other colors to blend in

tat is the reason y we bought this 2 lights, we were so allured by those lighting effect casted... but the costs of this 2 lights constitute abt 70% of our total lighting cost

no complaint for my window... thankfully, the installation ran smoothly so i m more fan xin now. which light are u toking abt??? the one with LED??? or the dining room light???

hmm... i feel tat it is quite the brightness is just right, i still got T5 tube at my kitchen cabinet and my color-combi for kitchen are rather bright colours.
