Our reno process started a month ago. The progress has been rather slow. Tiling is not completed yet. Carpentry measurements has been taken and are being manufactured in Malaysia now. Plumbing work was completed yesterday. Rewiring is not done yet (hopefully it would be done by this week ). Aircon trunking has been completed. As we need the place by early next month, Nic promised that our house would be more or less completed on time. Some pics to share: These pictures was from 1 month ago. Hacking took 4 days to complete. Tiles arrived soon after the hacking work. Unfortunately the work slowed after this with only 1 tiler doing the tiling work in the bathrooms.

3D Sketches These are the 3D sketches provided by our Renoguyz: The kitchen is more or less accurate. Piano white laminate with kompacplus top. This turn out to be different from what we wanted. I chose to fabricate a movable TV console as i was unable to find something that met my requirements. The console will be 7feet with 4 compartments. The top would be glass panes and the bottom would be wooden drawers. The TV feature wall would look like the picture below: Basically we will be adding grooves like in the picture. The laminate finish will be cement screed. And it will be full height feature wall. We will be fabricating a full length and full height bookcase for our study room. We are also fabricating 2 tables with the same laminate as the bookcase Both I and wife decided to go for a rustic-scandi feel. We are aware that its going to be difficult to keep to this theme entirely

Hi shoe2015, Thanks I'm still waiting for my wife to update the ID Selection Process. Hopefully it will be up soon. Heh My renovation is a bit slow at the moment- Tiling is still ongoing. We are doing a full renovation. Hack everything and redo, full rewiring, replumbing. I will pm the cost to you soon. Hope to hear the good news from you soon!

Hi everyone, me and my wife have decided to share our renovation journey here. We have benefited a lot from all the wonderful t-blogs here.
