    @Prabs Janarthanan yeah, did the glass wall for my hobby room. Its all within the reno package with the ID. You might explore looking into windows contractor for that glass wall or partition.

    @trcd the fridge is 2 ticks! Yeah, i got xiaomi tv 2s, comes with a soundbar and im loving it! Better than expectation. Just that you need a adaptor for the plug. The tv has static when its on. So avoid touching it.

    @trcd Hey thanks! Good spot there, it's a panasonic fridge, so far so good. but this is a EOL(end of life) model. I got one of the last pieces display set from Best Denki. Just that will have headache to find the exact fit in future for a replacement to fit into that hole.

    @JohnJohn Yes, I had issues with OpenNet (Netlink trust) over the schedule as well. Arranged for timeslot between 9am to 1045am. Receive a text that they will be coming at 10am for the installation, and replied to them that my ID will be there on my behalf. They start bombarding my phone since 9:50am and ultimately one of them by the name of John, in a very rude tone and threaten to go off. Luckily my ID has arrived 10 mins later. I did lodge a complaint to OpenNet after that.

    @lalashir love your choice of wall and floor tiles at your bathroom, turn out very well! We have very similar theme too, white, wood and cement. But adding in black to give a more maculine feel. =)

    Day 31 Renovation is like doing up a piece of painting. There's so much layers, so much fine details that we often take for granted. There's abit more work for the carpentry! Aircon have been fitted up nicely! (Apology, forgot to take pictures) Mitsubishi Sys 4 Inverter - MXY-4A28VA, uses a bigger blower for the living room. Starting to lay the cement, kinda nervous how it will turn out. I'm very happy with how the wooden cabinet looks like, and you won't know there's a bombshelter within it. This part of the feature is a full height shoe cabinet Inside the shoe cabinet contains a compartment for my Fibre Broadband. Nicely concealed and I can't stress enough the importance of having a lan network setup next to the router! 4 points, Behind the TV console, Hobby Room, Common Road and MBR. All covered! Even considering to get a range extender/repeater in my hobby room for better wifi coverage for the whole house! MBR Wardrobe. I'm liking it all white, nothing fancy. Less is more. As my place is windy, having the extended half cabinet allows my room to have more circulation when I open up the windows on both sides of the room! Btw, I've also replace the warm lights with coolwhite ones. Don't want the whole house to look too orange. The L shape layout divides the small space into dressing up, and rest! (Will show more updates when the furnitures are in)

    Day 27 Things ain't moving really fast and finally the carpentries finally got started and am so excited over this. The whole house has suddenly move on to another stage. When I reached the site, the carpentry master is still at work *thumbs up* The dry kitchen. Kitchen Island and the tall cabinet for fridge + oven. This will also be the food and grocery storage too. Hobby room. I love the open shelves, better than expected. A bay seat with storage is below the window. A better view of the cabinet. Good choice of the wood laminate. give myself a pat. Wet Kitchen, still very raw at this moment. Common Bathroom vanity counter. MBR vanity counter. MBR wardrobe, didnt like the aircon trunking thou...but bobian The feature wall looks like some Coffin now, lol. Can't wait for everything to come together.

    Day 24 It's been real exhausting to juggle work, renovation and running around so many places to source for things, but the show must go on! Here's some updates. If you remember previously.... it's a big wooden door. It's been replaced! I love the blurry glass(wired glass) look of this bi fold door! Not only it save up on the swing door space, and it's so nice! @OceanEleven Here's how the glass door looks like when it's fully open, not 90 degree, not an issue for me as I'm not very big size I like the horizontal handle too, allows me to hang a towel there, My Hobby room is taking shape! Looks like a giant terrarium! Day time shot Thanks to the long weekend, I get the chance to shop at ikea. is already crowded at 10am... Items I got from Ikea: STAVE Mirror, white stained oak effect white stained oak (40x160cm) Full length mirror for the MBR STAVE Mirror, black-brown (70x70cm) For the Common toilet FINTORP Rail, black (79cm) For the above the kitchen sink The hooks are sold separately KOMPLEMENT Pull-out multi-use hanger, white (35cm) For my wardrobe to put belts The ID send people down to wash both toilets and clean the windows, an unexpected pleasant arrangement

    @OceanEleven Good point! the glass door swings inwards, lesser than 90 degree, there's a circular rubber padding on the wall. You got picture of your existing knob handle?

    @JohnJohn you can consider using ezbuy previously known as 65daigou. I would say the buying process can be complex at first, but will definately go back to taobao again for a better bargain

    Day 21 ID is keeping me in suspends today, refuse to tell me what's happening today, only say that I will get to see new things every night I come back and check. Notice that the gas pipe has been reconfigured. It's no longer cutting directly down from the subway tiles, it's taking a flank from the side which will later on be hidden inside a cabinet. Wires are ready for the hood and I suppose that's for the LED lights under the top hang cabinet. Shower Screen and Rain shower is installed at the MBR Toilet! Pardon me for not introducing the Sanitary wares, am not savvy which brand is good. For me is about costing, function it needs to be for, not much complaints, water and energy saving . I'm keeping them either stainless steel looking/white, so it stands out from the cement tiles. Storage heater is up, looks so huge ahhh! It's a Joven 35L. And tada~ My virgin purchase from taobao loots are here! 1. Digital Clock I'm not too sure if i want a wall clock as I dont have much wall space, something simple like this is good. Verdict: It's much smaller than I expected, doesn't look polish, it comes with a "coin battery" which later on found out it's not meant to power up the clock. Need to be powered by the plug instead. Book Box Saw this at a friend's place, and thought it's a good idea to use this to hide all the living room remote controls and it looks like a book on the table. Verdict: A pleasant surprise! the actual thing looks really good, has a little "used" feel and the texture feels like a real book cover too.     Congratulations on getting your new house! Meetings with the IDs can be a very draining process, and its only the beginning, do pace yourself well! I would say you need add on another 10-20k on top of the quotation for the unforseen things you wanna add on along the way. Other than the cost, chemistry and responsiveness is also important. Jiayou and cant wait to see more updates!

    Day 19 and 20 It's past 10pm when i went on to have a look. Parquet floors for the 3 rooms are varnish! very strong smell that makes me tear! but very happy with the outcome! it looks brand new! So shiny and so nice to walk on! Love it so much! Toilet bowl is up! Now I can see the real beauty of the tiles. Random textures and love the contrast. Can't wait to unveil more
