  1. Haven't login for a while, was out of town often. A few years ago, we felt our bill was too high, so called SP services. A guy was sent to check our electrical appliances. Found out that a mini fridge consumed more than the big one. The service was free. Maybe you can try.
  2. Hi TYM, Big thanks to you!!! Noticed it, too. Don't know what to do with these people.
  3. Wow! Nice house. You and your hubby are amazing. Mostly DIY. Well done!
  4. I got 4 fan coils + I compressor from them in Dec 07. Their workers, a skinny bare-bodied chap together with a short fat chap, did a good job installing the pipes, trunkings and fan coils in the rooms. I discovered they did not place rubber pads, as stipulated in the invoice, under the compressor. I called their company up at IMM concerning it, the receptionist told me that rubber pads are hidden under the compressor. Wanting to be sure, I went out to the ledge to check and there were no pads under the compressor. Her remote viewing is off by a few floors; with a little more training the Singapore govt can use her special talent – they’ll capture all terrorists in no time. I called them up again saying they need to place the rubber pads and make a trunking for my compressor wire. Wang Sa and Yeah Fong came back with the former doing most of the job. The compressor’s trunking is slanting with its end chipped. They appear unhappy for having to come back to complete a job that they didn’t do right the first time. I wrote to Ms. Vivian Chan, director of All Best Air-Conditioning & Electric Pte Ltd, at 27 May 08 to ask for her comments about her workers’ attitude/professionalism. She did not reply to my letter even after I had left two phone messages with her receptionist Amy.
  5. I have free All Best Air-Conditioning & Electric Pte Ltd 16 discount vouchers worth $10 each, valid until Dec 09, to give away! Why give them away? 6. Poor service from Window View Interior Design and Decoration Co. I also got wooden blinds (Vietcis brand) from Window View Interior Design and Decoration Co. Blk 2022, Bt Batok St. 23, #02-118, and asked the co. to install them in our home in Mar 08. Good points: they took off their shows when they entered into my home. They used a vacuum cleaner to suck up the concrete dust by placing its hose next to the drill bit while drilling into the walls. Bad points: They, 1. Used the wrong 50mm wooden helmets (covers top part of the blinds & exposed screws of the L-brackets) instead of the 70mm ones. They replaced it only after I had incessantly asked for them before that they kept saying that is what the supplier gave them. The new helmets in my living room are of the wrong colour – teak instead of zen. 2. Secured the L-brackets – which have 2 mounting holes - to wall by using only one screw instead of two. They secured it with two screws after I had incessantly asked them to do so. Before that they kept insisting that the blinds are secure. 3. Did not show up for an appointment after Mr Lim has fixed it with me 4. Wanted to charge me for giving me a defective blind – one strip has two large cracks in it – instead of replacing it for me including the helmets in point 1. 5. Gave dirty – sooty – blinds eventhough they came wrapped in plastic. Tony Ku, boss, didn’t reply to my letter about his installers’ poor work attitude; they could have got the job done in one visit instead of four. When I smsed him about my letter. His neutral reply was to “thank me for my feedback, they were noted and he hoped to service me again”. When I smsed him (this time cc it to the interior designer who recommended him) if that is official reply to my letter? His replied changed to he is now “sorry” for what had happened and had “warned” his installers about their attitude. If you are happy with the level of service mentioned above, please use this company’s services after all Tony has “warned” his installers about their poor work attitude and therefore their customers will face no more problems from now on.

  12. Hello! Very sorry. It's miscommunication. Thought THUM was postponed. Our internet hasn't been fixed at home, so couldn't check it on Sat. Now I've chairman's HP. Next time, I'll call him to verify. Sorry, can't meet tonight 8pm. Need to work late. Agreed with HOME2BE, we're happy to stay at Tanglin Halt.
  13. Well, moved twice before this round. Threw away many rarely used items. That helped a lot. For THUM, this Sat 3pm should be ok.
  14. It's not really break-proof. Broke a few pieces before. It's more break-proof if you have wooden or carpet floor.
