I work at Suntec and normally take bus 56 opp our place and alight at Millienia Walk. Its direct and at most 30mins. Waiting time for the bus is quite short too. THis is much faster compared to changing train and waiting for the super long shuttle bus. And also likelihood to get a place to seat. haha. =) Also re the outing on 29 Mar, think i lost the paper or threw it away. haha. Wat no to call for RSVP? Can someone PM me? Good News, Im shifting in this Monday! Still some minor stuffs not done but well, here I come! Anyone can tap into Wireless@SG from your unit since HDB hub is so nearby? !!

Hi Happy & Meowie, my place is done by Design Profession. So far so good le. ive no complaints. Ive done up most carpentry. Maybe Meowie, you can highlight why u feel their workmanship is no good?? You had experience with them or ur friends?

anyone getting lights? i highly recommend Singapore Lightings off balestiar rd. and i'm NOT receiving any coffee $. haha. allow me to share my experience. for those who went my place- i think someone make a remark re the guest room light being like disco cos its blueish. haha. its suppose to be super white light but don know why the blue element in it. so after much thought, me and hubby called up and asked if we can changed the bulb since we've thrown away the box and has bought the lights in late NOV. They said no problem! so me & hubby went down and they changed it for us with no questions asked. did not even asked to see the receipt! then we also wanted to change the downlights cos we thought it was a wrong delivery. cos i remembered not supposed to be exposed to dust but those who saw my downlights knew what i meant (Chrispy also make a remarked on the dust collection? haha). my ID also say not practical. so when i went and asked, the service attitude was very good. they check out the problems first and never shoo me away cos opened items not supposed to change mah.. anyway after they checked then realised my lighting guy added the extra screwnut hence the glass is protruding, hence exposed to dust. haha. the downlight has two display function; with or w/o glass protruding! so dont need to change. =) but through it all, the service was really excellent!! not quick to shift responsibility to customer since we are the ones that select n choose it. my lighting guy also broke our blub for WIW! then when i went to Singapore Lightings with intention to buy one more blub, he gave to us FREE! i did not even show him the broken piece. Im really impressed! Good job!

wow i almost bought from Strauss too. Ended up in Singapore Lightings instead. Good service. and when i go back to change things, no question asked. and gave me better ones. =) u can check them out. The one my ID brought me to is at Jalan Besah. near Mac'D. v good services also but v costly. they hv imported items too so not so common stuff. Also if u happened to be there, u can cross the road and try out the Hakka beefball noodles and Yong Tau Foo. Abacus too. All handmade. SUPER nice!!

P.S: Wondering anyone here also Blk A Level 13???? Heeeee...... maybe we can arrange to go see my flats tog when we got keys..... Hi welcome to the forum. Im also at Level 13 BUT from Block C. but i suppose you shld have better view cos yours not block by the flat opp. I can only console myself with the garden.. haiz.. I supposed those on high floors can see fireworks? Alister yours can right?? u will find lotsa pple gathering outside ur units on new yrs' eve. haha.
