hi, anyone knows where is Classic located? Is it Tg Katong? There's seems like alot of design firm name 'Classic' xxx', afraid i might go to the wrong one. someone recommended me for their good carpentry work.. any advise?

Hi, I know there's a thread on IDEAL HSE but I thought of giving it a 'new' title to reflect my concern on choosing them .. I'm at the final phrase of choosing ID and just wanted to make sure I'm with the 'correct' one.. Those whose home being renovated by Ideal - especially Mr K, pls give your most genuine feedback as you guys are the only we rely on .. Some queries: Is there any 'hidden cost' on the basic packages??? There's whole list of itmes from wet work, to kitchen, to plumbing, etc. Is there any things i should look out for? Any problem cancelling items that's isted in the contract and reduce the total $$$ (after signing)? Will the $$$ keeps adding up during the reno process? Is the laminate design outdated??? Is there plenty to choose from? That's about all i can think of now.. hope to see many many many replies...

juz wanna update, till today no meetg yet. only faxed floor plan & requirements. the prelim quote was HIGH! more expensive than another ID firm.. alittle disappointed when got his quote. think they got too many biz..

Hi, Like most of the forummers here, am looking for a renovation contractor. I'll be getting the hse end Oct/early Nov, so now should be the right time looking for Patrick right (since he's so busy)? Hope someone can help to my queries: Does anyone been to his AMK office? Is that the carpentry workshop/factory? Why they don't have sample tiles in their office and we have to go hunting them ourself? Does that save alot of $ (for us)? Does those companies have nice and fanciful ceramics tiles? Or just some simple 'patterned' ones? Does Patrick have alot of regular workers (sub-contractors)? Since he has so many projects going on at the same time, will he uses 'ad-hoc' workers? If yes, then quality will be compromise, right? Those who have finished job, was it delayed? By how long? Weeks/months? Coz I'm renting a place to stay and wait for the reno work to finish, can't really afford months of delay.. Thanks in advance for any reply..
