ya, with this layout, there's no place for me to put my shoe cabinet. Been thinking of hacking the walls, to make the kitchen area looks bigger, but the fact will be doing a considerable amt of cooking, thus drop that idea. so yes, layout remain unchanged, with a glass door at entrance of kitchen. due to budget constraint, not doing very fancy reno but basic one.
