Hi Larry! For the digital lock you're right and we did buy one on qoo10 and the other one from AN. We topped up about $100+ for them to install which is similar as to what the independent installer would have charged. All works were done at our home within the hour and the don't need to weld the gate as the lock I bought I made sure that it fit new BTO gates. If your home has an old/custom gate you might need to check if the lock would fit. Also check if the gap between the doors has sufficient leeway to install both. Let me know if you need more info!

Hihi! All PMed!

Hi @Zened88, Thanks for visiting the thread and hopefully there's something useful for you here. Unfortunately, the chairs I've got are no longer in stock but you can copy and paste this if it helps you. --> 北欧餐椅 (translates: scandinavian/northern europe dining chairs) I've also realised that I haven't truly reviewed my ID but I've had loads of inertia when i seat down trying to pen it down. I will try this weekend but I won't be showing the quotation rather breaking down what we spent on each room... Thanks for reading!

Hihi, this would be Dama Trading (http://dama.com.sg/). For best results bring the meshes that you want to replace so that they can cut to size!

Thanks! It's been a year since we've moved in and everything is still working out really well. No issues with the carpentry which it good I think. We're toying around with the idea of doing more works but it's for another day! The carpentry laminates that we chose are on page 7 of the thread and here's a link for you! http://www.renotalk.com/forum/topic/72412-nordic-crush/?page=7

Hi there! I think you've got a lovely layout or your house and definitely more budget than me! The cost of the renovation is potentially due to the amount of carpentry for your place and by limiting the amount of carpentry the price comes down. I spent about $28k on my 5 room BTO... Love your turquoise backsplash but I'm not so daring! The brown laminates are pretty dated. I suppose what you can do with the grey kitchen to make it more scandi is to brown laminate your trimmings where they show? Though with the backsplash, there might be a clash of colours. If you want a warmer looking kitchen, your cool tone backsplash will unfortunately look out of place. Have a look at my kitchen to see if it helps! http://www.renotalk.com/forum/topic/72412-nordic-crush/?page=16

@gumbokins hihi! I haven't been here a long time and I just logged in to say that I love those feature wall tiles! (and that I can tell they're upside down too... so it's really not just you! Hope you get it fixed!)

My bookcase is from the HEMNES series in IKEA... It's not perfect fit in that corner there's still a space but then there is a switch on that wall so it's good that it doesn't cover that up making it useless too... The kompacplus is pretty sturdy... I've tried like really leaning my weight on it while eating so I think it's quite good...
-
Yup from the inside you're able to manually override with a key... The keyhole is covered up so you cannot override from the outside. Outside you can use a battery to charge it up for one use if you run out of batt.

But when you get ready in the morning it's like the perfect temperature!

Oh wow! that means get more space in the room! Cause ours if like a double wardrobe so it is pretty wide. You could still make it 2 sided though if you want! I think you can skip the door for the walk-in wardrobe as I find it will get a little stuffy in that corner as the air conditioning doesn't face that corner and can't get it to cool down that easily.

Hihi! All sent!

There's a remote for us to push the button to open the lock. We leave it on our shoe cabinet but there's a holder for you to install on the wall.

Our double-sided wardrobe has so much space I can go buy more clothes.. Good thing about it is that the hubz gets as much closet space as I do which means if I ever run out I'll just infringe on his space! It's also good for couples where one partner wakes up later than the other as the light from one side will not spill over to the sleeping area. There are also cons to it though... It divides the room down so it makes the room smaller than it already is and I can't stand back very far from my side to admire my entire collection. My "walk in" area is about slightly less than 1m wide. Apparently there are people that wanted to try this method but their rooms were not long enough as well.

Been missing for a very long while~ Just had a feature on our house on Qantvas and just wanted to share the photos

Hihi! The island is 2m by 1m by 1m but is lifted up higher due to the cement base we did. Lucky we're tall or else it will really be too high for us. It's made to take into account the high bar stools we were planning on using...

Hihi~ no problems! Glad you like it enough for a pin <3

My next batch of TB items have arrive and I'm amazed by the quality. They've not cheap but by Singapore standards they'd be more expensive if bought in stores here. First! My digital peephole with doorbell~ We tested this over the weekend and works like a charm... We had a small problem with the installation cause the screws they gave were all too long for my door. New doors are not thick so I had to hunt in a neighbourhood hardware store to find the right screws for installation. Love it though. It has a do not disturb function which turns off the doorbell in the night (manually set before you sleep though) and also the best feature is that it has a motion sensor function and records like people loitering outside the house. I've bought like 3 of these tissue boxes and they look amazing with the decor. My side table here and study table have grains that match~ Finally my throws and cushions~ the cushions feel soft to touch... the cable knit ones are my fav.... the colourful ones have a suede feel to it and very comfortable to touch... Going to spend more of my money now~ Ta!

Hi koxxic, the lock is a korean local market product so it's in korean but there's nothing on the lock that requires language to operate. They send you an ecopy of the manual in english as well. Very easily programmable and the person that you ask to install can easily teach you how to use it. Hope this helps! No problems!! Hope you find what you need
