yah... we did false ceiling and all to cover up all the ugly aircon trunkings in the LR, foyer, and coridor to the bedrooms. i almost fainted when i saw the trunkings... but now ok liao... cos all the false ceiling went up... the ceiling looks normal again... after reno... blueturtle become very very blue... wahahahahaha... anyway.. which block u peeps @? me gonna do a partial move in next weekend! hohoho... seeya ard the neighbourhood

me too got danny. he is very nice. started reno early march... partial move in nx week. hohoho...

hmm... the TO says will take abt 3 weeks to fix the defects leh... they called again today to say they went down to fix something. but dunno what. !! me gonna go down this evening to spot check... shun bian see how my reno is doing. hehe...

we also thot of holding the reno. but the TO says got 1 year warranty from HDB. and they will still fix the defects if we find them later. hmm... seems like they telling different ppl different things. arggg... anyway... my reno started ytd. but HDB haven't fix my doors and windows yet. they were quite quick in fixing the many leaking pipes though. everytime they fix 1, i will find another one else where. haha... terrible.

yes yes... blueturtle will proceed with the reno before they fix the defects... the TO say it's ok. =) so we are just going to go ahead with the reno. need to rush the house out fast before the big day...

i am also doing my reno with idea house. price also abt the same as you. =) me gonna be doing the aircon piping for the house tmr and starting reno as well. found 1 more leaking pipe after submitting defects list. gonna make another report again.

Thanks softballer! I got my ID to check for the defects. managed to find quite a few things... some of it i think was quite retarded... dunno how HDB checks also.. so obvious still dare hand over... sighz... just faxed the defects list over... waiting for their response now...

oh no... sounds real bad... i hope there aren't too many defects in my unit. I just collected my keys today. Going down to check this weekend. *keeping my fingers crossed*

i just came back from HDB Hub with my Keys... in a neighbouring block. should be going down this weekend to Officially open my Doors! Think quite a few people from the area receiving keys today too! hehe... i peeped into the officer's PC... keke... hopefully dun get too much defects in mine.

congrats renopooh! HDB got 23 more days to give me key before the deadline... boo hoo... all the best to me...

me got danny from ideal house. he seems like a nice person. we removed quite a bit of his original design cos out of budget and he was ok with it. no bad attitude, displeasure or anything. gonna meet him tmr to view the 3D diagrams. hope it will be nice!

hohoho... HDB now retiling my house... wondering how long it would take for them to give me my keys... any idea anyone? also, i am currently looking around for IDs/ contractors to do up my house. Will only be doing the standard items for the entire house (minus the 2 bedrooms. no use for them yet). Not planning for hacking, or retiling or overlay. Can share with me what kinda budget this will take? another thing, was wondering what to do with the awful vanity top in the MBR toilet. Ideas anyone?

hihi me also have the same rounded MBR in 38wang. but i book in august. went down a to see the showflats and check out my new house. no signs of any hdb works. sighz... haven't started looking for ID yet. any recommendations or comments regarding your ids?

sighz... me booked my unit in 357C end august... until now also no news from HDB leh... everytime i call him also tell me wait till Feb... call until i sian liao... a few weeks never call... scared later he angry with me...

i just booked 357C yesterday (28 August 07). HDB say must wait 6 months to collect keys! argg... why so long huh? is it compulsory to collect keys and sign the lease together? can sign lease earlier?
