  1. yup, so far I am the only 1 with this layout. cos earlier BTO bah, launched in Jul 2012. got it via SOBF.
  2. u can refer to the previous pages, posted during Oct/Nov period. I have posted a few. Ok, it is at page 27. Dunno why the pics dun show in the post but if u click the icon, it will still show the picture.
  3. Welcome! 15k just for reno is very possible but of cos depends on what you plan to do. Esp if u r looking for contractors instead of ID cos ID definitely charge more than contractors but of cos u enjoy more of their services. 20k include white goods, just a rough estimation: aircon 2k, fridge $800, washing machine $700, TV $500, hob & hood $1k (this one i havent research so not so sure abt this estimation), these few items already about $5k already. so meaning ur reno budget will be around $15k.
  4. initially i wanted to seal the kitchen entrance until I see the actual unit... then u might be able to collect keys by 1Q 2017 or earlier.
  5. basin change to there is from 1 corner to another corner leh... too far liao.
  6. collected key last Oct. Havent start reno yet.
  7. ahjack welcome back! U got see what I planned to do to my bathroom? refer to previous page.
  8. I like your layout. squeezing all 3 in 1 row is challenging. For sink in kitchen, it has to depends on where all the piping are, which are not shown in the floorplan. So where you gonna place your sink, your washing machine, have to depends on the piping location, unless u want to do a major overhaul. Since your kitchen is so squarish, if you dont cook alot, you can even place a small dining table in the kitchen.
  9. I got a new neighbour who install a I think at least 6 ft tank to divide the main door and living room, his is 5 room unit though and yes, big fishes. 1 caution of putting aquarium is the sound of the airpump and motor... esp if use it is in the bedroom... not advisable lah.
  10. I dont like glass panel in the room cos very obvious when dirty with finger prints. if u want to divide the rooms, use your wardrobe to divide it. the back can be used as tv wall although i think 2850 abit short so ur TV cannot be too big.
  11. room quite big, but living room small. bathroom just nice for L-shape shower screen if u want. I will hack the wall between living and bedroom.
  12. congrats! and happy that you find this thread helpful. u very +ve! lol! good! the newer model only have 1 door in the bathroom and open to the living room so giving more space to the bedroom, which I feel is good although some do not like the idea of having a bathroom door in the living room. can share you floorplan here?
  13. congrats! show ur floorplan? How to have open concept for bathroom?
  14. Hi Andrew Noted, will discuss with ID on which one is better. Dunno, only got 1 at the shower area. >_<
  15. I think it is quite challenging for the WC cos it the sewerage hole is quite towards the center. This is what I described as the slanted shower screen.
  16. Rotation of WC - can be done but quite hassle and expensive. the piping can be quite a sore to the eyes too. I have decided not to seal the doors of the bathroom doors. Cos after viewing the actual unit, I felt that my kitchen is quite dark. If I seal the door, it will be darker. What I planned to do is to install a slanted sliding glass shower screen instead, that divides the bathroom to 2 halves with WC in 1 and shower + basin in another. ID has confirmed this is possible and probably a better way if I insists on dry and wet shower areas. Of cos the cons is that my basin will be wet after shower but I can accept that. And yes, there is only 1 drainage in the bathroom. ID propose to create an opening at the shower kerb for water to flow from WC to shower area when washing the WC area.
  17. shd be within a month, depends on when u confirm ur design and details.
  18. Oops! my msg is full and I have cleared it. U can PM me now.
  19. sure! but note I have yet to start reno hence it is an empty unit.
  20. Welcome Stream! I guess you will be disappointed cos I understand that only me have collected keys so far and mine is a different set up as yours. 1 of the forum member has requested to view my empty unit tomorrow at 10am so if you want can come and take a look, at CCK though. you can resize your pic in Paint. open the picture, click resize and choose to reduce to say 20% and save as another file name. That should allow you to upload to gallery here. Like I mentioned above, tomorrow 10am I will be at my empty unit. So you are welcome to come if you want. West Edge is along Bt Batok Road too. Guess should be near to yours. Ya, understand your dilemma. That time I also left with the only last high floor unit, keep wondering should I take a level 3 unit if no more choice or not.
  21. Welcome Rufus58! I know 2 are from West Edge. Near Ridges?
  22. You need to have the floorplan with measurements to have better idea.
  23. Welcome Salmonpink! This design is pretty nice and easy to place your furniture. just that you will not able to split the wet and dry bathroom. kitchen although looks big enough but quite abit constraint unless fridge can be placed along the household shelter wall side.
  24. if you collect keys on 2020, then + 5 years b4 u can sell, ie. 2025.
  25. Welcome another Michael! 3rd northshore residence!
