Thanks to SuperZ asking for my post reno pics. Just realised I didnt took enough pics of my renovated house. So I took some this morning.

those are just laminate designs. you can choose plain single colour laminate.

very very rough estimate / price range: 1. depends on the type of tiles u choose, maybe range from $3 to $5 per square foot? excluding the kitchen and bathroom which already equiped with tiles, living and bedroom area u can use a rough estimate of 350 sqm. 2. $3k? 3. also depends, you can go IMM and take a look at ho kee, sing siang choon, excel on their price range. 4. I got a roller blinds for my bathroom window at $100 and night curtain (not blinds) for both living and bedroom at $500.

aiyo, sounds like mine? lol! u gotta flip thru the past 80 pages to view it. ok lah, u can start from the Jun 2016 posts onwards.

is ok one, go and talk to them and tell them u got no idea also ok one, lol! i told that to the 1st ID i met. ID by right understand what you want and your lifestyle and help u to think of the design and layout, after that helps to coordinate the whole reno process. contractor is u tell them do what they just do it and u need to get different contractor to do different job, eg. tiler, electrician, plumber, carpenter etc.

congrats! must take picture and show here ya!

thks for sharing, reno cost must be very ex... but strange why they wanna install a basin in the kitchen... and the layout is different from the actual. the owner blocked the bedroom window i guess, if not the head will be pointing towards the window, which is not good in fengshui from what I understand.

I removed the hanging laundry rack. I do not have sunlight at the kitchen area, including the laundry rack outside the kitchen. So I only use that rack for table cloths etc. As the morning sun shines into my living and bed room, I installed a pole in the living room near the window to hang my laundry. and recently I realised I can hang the clothes at the window handle at the bed room too.

u meant the 3d rendering from id? i have posted mine in this thread i think... for actual pic, so far only andotang, msbunny, varying and myself had completed reno. u can refer to page 1 of this thread for link to their thread / blog but msbunny's is a resale, not bto. varying posted a few pictures in this thread and so far all my pictures are in this thread too.

like I said, u probably need a system 2 aircon, which has 2 blower, 1 for bedroom and 1 for living room. if so, 9k btu for each should suffice. this is the hdb show flat foor plan, wardrobe is beside the bed. as pointed out by 2roomer, the white door is the db box. u want to to have platform for bed, i assume there is storage area beneath? if not, i find raised platform useless and waste of $, but of cos it is nice to look at. i think tracks needs to be removed, meaning the existing tiles holding the tracks need to be removed too. you will have 5 pcs of spare tiles in your HS and if not enough, u can buy from BSC. your tiler will cut to exact size and fit it in. if u subscribe from city gas, aka govt gas, there is no need for gas canister. gas piping already been laid to your kitchen, just need city gas people to connect it to the hob and switch the gas on.

this is in the living room, width is about 1m which is the single size bed width. this is in case anyone staying over. I told the ID and carpenter that this platform need to take the weight of 4 or 5 adults as visitors will be sitting on it. so far my highest record is 3 adults + 4 teenagers. it feels very sturdy.
