Towards the end... Will probably be one of the last few posts here soon since everything has been completed and we will be moving in next weekend! I had fun sharing my renovation process and my TB buys! My IKEA kivik dansbo dark grey sofa was delivered yesterday afternoon! Looks good and blend in well with my semi scandi industrial theme home. Loving the chaise lounge which will be my throne in our household. Hehehe. I foresee I will be spending most of my weekend on that seat couch potato-ing my K & TVB dramas! At the same time I also helped my TB down feather cushions to wear their new clothes! (Also from TB!) loving the bright and colourful prints that spice up our dark sofa! Not to mention,down feather cushions are so comfortable to hug! *super love! My small tiny TB parcel came yesterday and I received this in the mail! Nothing to do with renovation, our customized initials in Tiffany blue and pastel pink! Choose glitter silver for the "&" symbol. These will be going up on the brick wall above the TV! Decoration is still on going so it will probably take us some time to fully make it more complete and look more cozy! I have been quite addicted to daiso recently after joining the daiso fan page! It's so addictive since everything is price at $2! So many stuffs to buy for household! I love their cooking and baking section! I will share my daiso best buys if I have the time! Hehehe. Hello Neighbour! The fault was not detect during initial stage because we miss the spot! The service yard was not touched at all except painting and lighting. The pipe was covered since the 1st day we collected our keys. Have arranged for BSC to come over on friday afternoon to take a look! Cannot imagine if the pipe burst or dirty water overflowed in our unit! Holy, did the water went into your unit? Lucky for you that's just some boxes blocking the pipe and not something worse! I wish our fellow neighbors can be more considerate. Saw alot of big boxes lying around my level's rubbish chute. I dont think those bangalas will come and clear it and this is clearly the ID/contractors job! heh, yes my laundry tin is from TB! Oh, the spoon is sold separately though for my seller. Hello! The brand is "Castle" hence it is called Castle Lock. I am not sure if Mr Low carries Duro, u can check with him via his website http://www.keysg.com/products.html I read somewhere that Duro lock has a joint line and it is possible to hammer the lock and the joint will break. Not sure how true is that. Mr Low informed us that no locksmith can unlock our Castle lock if we sway sway lost all the keys, the only way is to saw the lock away

A big step forward part 3 [misc decors] : Setup our Scandinavian 3 legged lamp beside our TV console. Want to sell this lamp away initially because we feel that our living room is already bright enough but I am so glad that I kept it in the end! Our laundry rack added with my yellow laundry powder tin! A closer look on the laundry powder tin : Last item will be delivered on Friday, our IKEA purchases! And our crib is almost up and running! Planning to do the big move next weekend!

A big step forward part 2 [electrical] : Our Phillips 55" TV,Samsung washer,fridge & Mayer digital oven is delivered and installed today as well! Have to call BSC to arrange for appointment to dig out the sand or residue in the pipe because the water overflow when the delivery guys tested our washer. Our fridge,oven and microwave! I fell in love with the fridge the 2 time I saw it. I am attracted to the water dispenser & automatic ice maker function. Always have ice water & ice! How nice! TV was delivered with free Phillips android box but it did not came with FOC antenna TV cable?! Hence we could not test the TV viewing function. Was planning to watch some tv shows while waiting for the rest of the deliveries to arrive Started to unbox my Amazon, TB purchases and started to put them in their new home! First up, my corelle dinner ware set! Really impressed with the quality, very thin yet it is chip/break resistant. My baby pink ecoramic pots set : KitchenArt pans set : Ahh, can't wait to start using them soon! The colours really liven up my kitchen!

A one big step forward! Today was a big day for both of us. All our electrical appliances are delivered & installed. Curtains/blinds are up and most importantly, we have our fibre up and running too! We engaged Vincent to install our blinds & curtains for our crib. The outcome is so gorgeous! I was kind of worried the fabric that we choose will not turn out as nice as expected but my worries are unfounded when I saw the results! I choose white wood black tape Venetian blinds for our living room : Day & night curtain for MBR : Closer look on the fabric : Blackout roller blinds for our 2 common bedrooms : Light grey & baby blue! I love love love the baby blue roller blinds! Super matchu with my charming blue walls! Ahhhhhh just want to keep staring at it! Part 2 coming up~~~

Hello! they are a company which provides various cleaning services one of which is the post renovation cleaning. My contractor did acid cleaning after the renovation however i still felt it is still quite dusty hence i engaged the company to do a thorough cleaning for me. they clean and wipe all the carpentry i have, including the inner drawers, etc.. All the fix fixtures,fans, lightings, drill on drawers etc.. I have PM you! Post renovation cleaning : I engaged A cube Microsystems for their post renovation cleaning and the uncle is very good! Takes pride in his work! Very friendly uncle & he is also the supervisor as well. He did all the cleaning himself for 6 hours straight. Our crib is now super clean and hopefully bacteria free! That aside, I can finally start to decorate our crib! I started with the smaller items due to time limitation. Laundry rack from TB ! The mint tin is from the IKEA gardening pot and I used it to store my clothes peg! Closer look at the gardening pot! Almost wanted to get the biggest bucket to act as our pail for washed clothes! Simple human trash bag storage : Grey memory foam mat : I bought 6 of the mats for different areas in the house. Bought bigger size for this to be place at our shoe cabinet area. Ignore the pink auntie non slip bathroom slippers heh. Just want to show the contrast of colours! Not to mention that it's so comfy and soft to step on! My $2 daiso extension rod ! I bought 2 of them to put inside the DB box to hang umbrella! It is extendable and there so many different colours available! We went to IKEA yesterday for our sofa shopping and other miscellaneous stuffs! We decided to go for IKEA's kivik sofa 2+1 sofa in dansbo dark grey! We also got the 4*2 Kallax bookcase because it's going for $99! Went back to our crib after that to contiune fixing up the remaining chairs and clear the boxes before the post renovation cleaning happens tomorrow! I am so happy with all my purchases! Dining table and chairs together! Not in the correct position,will adjust it after the renovation cleaning! Bought 2 whites and 2 blacks because I can't decide which colour to get so I got both!

Fresh from the photobucket part 2: Rack for shower foam and stuffs. Our TB sink with the tap! I love the huge sink! Not going for 2 partition sink because I know the other side will always be a rubbish chute hence I do away with it so I can wash bigger cooking ware such as pots! Our towel rack which have a bit defect. The lower bar is not straight but i can accept it for the price I paid for. Hehehe. No complains! Had some time so we fixed out our black eames dining chair. The only one out of the 6 we purchased. Will continue tomorrow. *phew. Anddddddd we fixed up our super walaoehveryheavy TV console! I love this TV console! Looks so simple yet fits in to our theme perfectly! It's very heavy and we had problems carrying it to the living room. We also scheduled Mr Low from Singlock to install our castle lock today! $150 , 6keys and 3year warranty. Very efficient and he only took 15mins to put the lock up! Tomorrow is another furniture fixing day! Will take more photos and update soon!

Fresh from the photobucket! Went over to check for any defects earlier and the moment I stepped in, I was amazed! Amazed at how clean my flooring is. We are able to walk barefoot in our house now! Though it is still dusty but feels so good to have our feet touching the tiles. Haha! Well, I am very very satisfied with Nick's work! *thumbs up! All our taps and basins are up and running! Tested our rainshower as well! *we use instant heater hence only the hand shower gets the hot water. Not the rainshower was told it cannot be done such that both have hot water. I don't really mind because I enjoy cold shower on such a hot day! So I decided to leave it as what it is! Glad to say the water pressure for rainshower (cold water) is very good!! I am impressed! A note for new key owners to note,no rainshower if u are going for instant water heater ya. It was fun while it last! I am kind of sad that my renovation is over. I will miss the times where I spend so many hours surfing TB looking for stuffs for our crib. Now it is the time to do the dreading job;pack up! Before that, pictures first! Waterfall tap! Super huge tap! the size was indeed smaller when it was in the box. It just looks bloated all of a sudden. LOL! Our rainshower with 707 instant heater! Bidet spray : Retractable sink tap: Saw this same tap in SG selling for $200++ ! Other Online Purchases Besides TB and Amazon, i do shop on other platform as well. I have purchased the following items for our crib, mostly our electrical appliances from Rakuten! Enjoyed the 15+5% off during their past Tuesday promotion, on top of that, we purchased via shopback.sg and got another 5% cashback! Today is the BIG day for us! Handover flat day! I hope everything is done nicely and no defects that need to be rectify! Will post pictures of the flat soon!

Amazon Purchase #3 I have carted out my 3rd amazon shipment over the weekend & i hope this would be the last time i will spend on Amazon! Ordered some cutlery and silicon cooking wares because i will be using happycall pots and pans hence i need silicon cooking ware. Bought some from OXO and Tovolo! I also found a matte black dishwasher sponge basket! Less than 10USD and it looks so pretty! Totally drooling over the matte black design! The estimated shipping date is quite long but for matte black, i dont mind waiting since this is considered an non urgent item. Timeline : This week is handover week hence a couple of things happening, plumber works (Final item) will be done by today/tomorrow, acid cleaning, touching up of paint too as well. Castle lock installation will fall on Friday afternoon! Engaged Singlock - Mr Low for the job! I have not stepped in my own place barefooted since the day we collect my keys so i am quite looking forward to that. Post-renovation cleaning is set on 8th June, 10th June will be delivery of all my electrical appliances,My republic fibre installation & curtain installation by Vincent! Quite full schedule for the coming week but i am not complaining because le husband will be there to monitor all the installation etc. I hope to move in before end of june!

Went up to our place yesterday and saw the glasses are installed! Common toilet screen MBR sliding door screen Kitchen tempered glass backsplash We also self assembled our TB furnitures! Took us an hour or so for the 3 pieces of furnitures. achievement unlock for both of us today!! Hello! I actually purchased all the trays, racks in advance way before the renovation even started. The carpenter took the measurements and do the cupboards accordingly. When you buy the racks, take note of the depth as my contractor told me for kitchen top, their standard depth is not more than 55cm as such you need to purchase depth which is within 55cm(IIRC). Granite is one whole piece of stone and they are cut to standard depth. As for length and width, it is up to your needs since carpentry is made from scratch, your carpenter will just need to know the measurements after you purchased. And yes, the carpenter installed all the pull out racks for me. In fact, 80% of my TB stuffs are fixed up by my contractor. I spent close to $2K on my first sea shipment with Amcon that consist of all the things i need for my renovation that includes, the taps, sink,basin, bricks, lights,pull out trays. It was around 2.3cbm which cost $400+ for shipping and GST. Good luck!
