  1. 1st homo tile shouldnt have too much uneveness, maybe u are around on thurs, u come and see my replaced tiles. my 1st homo tile has no obvious uneveness, just hollow problem.
  2. seriously, i think it is excuses. It is a matter of workmanship. My logic is if someone else houses' homogenous tiles is not uneven, why should mine be? if u try looking at ur house, there are areas they can do w/o the uneveness, right? ask him this. Ask him for his professional advice, afterall, he can tell u more. let him do something about it, rather than shrug this away. btw, is this ur 1st homo tile, or is that a replaced tile?
  3. my idea of uneven tiles is when u step across 2 tiles, u feel the cut leg feeling. what is urs? btw meowie, I will in for this Thurs.
  4. some dilema. Correct me if I am wrong. Shower heaters: 1) Instant Heater (run on electricity, instant hot water, electricity bill cost more) 2) Storage heater (can allow kitchen mixer to have hot water, bulky, 5-10 min lag then have hot water, bill unknown) 3) Gas heater (run on gas, is it instant hot water upon turn on? heard that it cost lesser on bill as it run on gas) I am giving up storage heater. Main reason is my main id and asst id has a miscommunication. Main id bought kitchen mixer, while asst id lay piping for instant heater. sigh. so now I have to choose between instant heater and gas heater? just called citygas, there have no promotion currently but will be releasing a gas heater at a subsidized rate (heard that it is a higher end model than the feb free gas heater) Installation for the piping for gas heater is free, but $100 for the piping to the cooking point. those who are using citygas free heater, did you all encounter any problem? Thanks ----- those who are asking ur ID to correct the uneven homogenous tiles, please let me know how they do it. cos my replaced ones (previous hollow) are now also uneven. a little bit, i don't care, but my unevenness for the replaced ones quite jialat. Pls give some advice.
  5. this is something very different from what I have seen so far. Bold =)
  6. hey blackapple, how much is ur reno cost?
  7. hey hey red crystal, can I have ur empty ctns? How to collect from you?
  8. i see from the photo, can't really see clearly. ya, mine is whole stretch to kitchen entrance. i think diff flat layout, if i stop half way looks weird. if u want to come and look again, let me know. =)
  9. by the way, i have check out with the clocks pull cart stall with regards to mass order. They didn't allow me to take photo, so no photo. the cheaper range is $29.90, most ex is $59+, they have standing clocks at $199 as well. the clock material quite light, not those heavy kind. mass order is 10-15% lesser than retail price which is not alot, so i think can get on ur own. I can't decide what design i want so also didnt buy. anybody knows other than molecule, where else sell designer clocks? I didn't go poh joo today, meowie, how's ur instant heater purchase?
  10. i have this pebblewash. I don't have this problem leh.
  11. i encountered a very long delay for handover. but not done by chew. what is their serious mistake?may i ask?
  12. do u have a photo of the groove line?
  13. I didn't take notice of the higher range/more expensive ikea stuff. I only heard of the wood material not lasting. but i am still a fan of ikea..always go there to drool ideas esp their wardrobe internal. =) i tried some of their mattress, quite soft, pricing also affordable, anyone bought their mattress before?
  14. i went to ikea before, saw their towel accessories material, quite nice actually, matt material kind but also heard that ikea things don't last long, so didn't dare to buy. only bought their bedsheets..the way they organised their furniture layout very fantastic. like 9m2 also can make it so cosy and put so many things. in my old house, i dun have this prob as i dun have mixer in kitchen tap. I think I must been drowsy to say yes to my ID when he asked me if i need a mixer for my tap.. haiz. I will ask the poh joo fei fei on sat for recommendations for my case. meowie, keep us updated of ur good buys.
  15. i m installing for both. i dun think i m installing other storage/instant heater anywhere else. my kitchen tap (mixer) paid and install liao...but havent use, dun think they will allow exchange. then in this case, should i buy something that connects all(the kitchen sink tap, and the 2 bathroom showers tap)? what is that I should buy? siao liao. I thought i can just settle for instant heater. the mixer tap cost me a freaking $185, to use like a cold tap like very wasted..
  16. yes, the installation is included in the contract, so I just need to buy and they will install. BUT hor, the kitchen sink tap which I bought has a hot and cold mixer... how?? yesterday I was looking for wardrobe at tanjong katong complex, i happened to go into hoe kee to see their toilet accessories. when i saw the 7 pcs accessories set cost only $75, I want to faint. one toilet roll holder cost $18-$20, I bought mine at $36 (not made of gold). they looked quite the same to me. just that my metal is harder...
  17. hi hana, my hood and hob is given "free" by ID firm so it is an exact measurment when they built the cabinet. I cant visualise if it is wide or narrow, i only know that it doesnt have a chimney..
  18. meepok, can sms me the place where u buy ur instant instant? how much do u pay to install the instant heater? actually I have one old one at home, no brand one, called allmark, get hot instantly bought 3-4 yrs ago at $115, still working well, not sure if i can just remove and install in the new house, if too troublesome, i just buy new ones..
  19. looks like u have to hack the kitchen hall to extend the kitchen, how many metres sq is this flat?
  20. where did you buy it from? I am too lazy to source out, $98 is quite ok. Have u tried using? which is the one that takes 10 minutes for water to get hot?
