I have : 1.homo tiles for living and 2 bedrooms, and bombshelter ( a little diff from u) 2.Laminate flooring for MBR 3.NO PLATFORM. cos i was quoted a near $2000 for it with storage, I strike it off. 4. Vanity in the masterroom toilet 5. Featured wall and TV console 6. Shoe cabinets and Mirror Featured wall 7. Kitchen Cabinet only 8. HAck Wall for WIW(a little diff from u) 9. Overlaying of 1 toilet flooring 10. No Grills ( a little diff from u) 11. Build in Wardrobe for bedroom 2. 12. False Ceiling 13. Include painting and some plumbing works and installation of toilet accessories. so do you think you are "chopped"?

hi all, ask you a question about renovation quote? is $28,000 very ex. for a 4 rm 90 m2 flat? This amount included the gst, all flooring, hack a wall, build a walk in wardrobe, 1 additional wardrobe, false ceilings, paint whole house, bomb shelter feature wall with storage, living room tv feature wall with storage, overlay tiles for 1 toilet plumbing works etc... is it on the high side? I know my descrption is quite vague. can i know how much does u guys spend on reno for ur flat?

pure designer will either take $1000 cash, doing the planning and 3d drawings for you, or take 10 % of the total reno. price. This is what I heard from my friend who used to be an interior designer. I didn't ask her to do for me, too close friends, she hard to earn , I hard to comment or bargain. :]

did he give u a valid reason for the delay? when you signed for the contract, did you state the date of completion?

I have heard of part time cleaner, they count their salary by per trip. Usually it is $50-$100 per trip, 4 hours a session, depending on how big your house is and how detail you want them to clean. but not really worth it. because a maid's salary now is about 300-350 ..last time used to be 280-320... and the maid is with you everyday. of cos' I haven't add govt levy+ maid's makan+ other misc expenses. to maintain a maid, you will need to fork out at least a $1000 (assuming $320 pay+ $280 levy + $300 makan + $100 unforseenable expenses like fall sick, buy toiletries etc = about $1000)
