  1. We are planning to buy from this website called xtwostore.com .... However our planned purchases may incur a shipping cost of 500 euros because it has just slightly over-run 30kg. This fee covers any weight from 30kg to 300kg, and it is by DHL. We are looking to do a bulk purchase to make things worthwhile, and to help reduce the shipping costs a little. What I propose is that when you find something you want to purchase, all you need to do is to pay us for the listed price as seen on screen. We will absorb the shipping charge and GST when the item gets to Singapore. It just makes things easier on our side to calculate. We are hoping to make the purchase in the next two weeks. Do let us know if you have any questions. We are open to any suggestions if you intend to buy more items.
  2. Hi everyone! I am about to buy some Grohe and Hansgrohe items from an overseas website. Is there anyone else who would like to join me to form a bulk buy group? I am looking to place an order by mid-June. The items will be shipped via DHL and should arrive 4-5 weeks. Should the items be damaged en-route, the company will replace the damaged items (we have already clarified this with the relevant companies). A group bulk buy would help reduce shipping costs for everyone! PM me for details. Thanks!
  3. HI MR Toh! Several things: 1. Your blog is really really informative! 2. Your house is stunning! I am currently in the midst of shortlisting several IDs/contractors. Like your wife, I already have a really clear idea on what the style/design/material I intend to use for my renovation, and hence whoever I choose to work with will mainly be doing the wetworks/ project coordination. I also intend to get a kitchen specialist to do my kitchen. Can I please find out the contact of your ID? It looks like whoever did your tiling did a good job (based on what I can see from photos anyway). I need to cast my net a little wider because the contractor I thought I will end up working with, had less than mediocare workmanship, especially when it comes to tiling. Sorry to be asking you this question (when you have been asked this countless times), but I am nearly vomiting blood with this ID/contractor hunt. Hope to hear from you. Thanks!
