Do u have the laminate code and brand? I Googled wenge laminates and I tried to visualise. so far I think should be quite ok even if the wenge colour is light. But I think the frame for the mirror should either be same as your wenge colour or the handles. That way should look more uniform. Just my 2cents. But dont sweat it! Your ID would have let you know if it didnt match! -

Haha. is your house door all glass door? Your common room is like those CSI interrogation room except that you will stand in the room and monitor the people outside. whahhaa. Now I am still thinking if i want to add a glass door for my kitchen although i'm not sure if it is necessary. i noticed something, just want to ask. for your master bathroom, there is no toilet paper holder? or not yet installed? if not then where are you going to keep? I'm asking because my WC and shower already is also together in the same area, we have got the paper holder but somehow i'm quite skeptical if the toilet paper will be kept dry when showering. Your WC company is also very good let you use the vanity cabinet until new stock comes. I just wonder after they replace for you, will they still sell the old vanity or will they write it off. lol

I got my fridge and washing machine in August when Samsung was having the SG50 cashcard promotion instead. But till now, I have not received my cashcard from them. Grocery voucher is better cos you just fill in the redemption form, go to the counter and can collect already. I got the grocery voucher for buying Samsung's microwave. hehe -
Whahah. Never thought of that >.<

This afternoon I met my contractor for final gas pipe connection and to run through the rectified defects. I was pleasantly surprised by my contractor yet again. My blinds have been installed! We were busy discussing other details and fixing up the TV bracket that I forgot to take photos of the other blinds before leaving. I am quite impressed with my contractor. He asked me whats the height of my sofa, measure my tv. Made sure that we dont need to stress our neck just to watch TV. Didn't know there were so many considerations. I always just thought that the height to mount the TV is quite standard. Or maybe I'm just a mountain tortise. Hehe. help/advice needed My flat comes with the built in rubbish chute which is already the flat kind. So last weekend, there was a fogging conducted at our block and I had promptly sealed up the rubbish chute to what I thought is the max. When I removed the garbage bag covering the chute today, there were 2 small cockroaches inside. Small = 1dollar coin. One already died, stuck to the tape. Another one was crawling in the bag, not dead but dying. I also noticed got 2 smaller babies, like ants size, outside of the bag but still in the cabinet also dead already. My question to bros here is how do you seal ur chute until not a single roach can escape, including the babies. Also flat kind means the new chute type if I'm not wrong. Will the cockroaches still be able to escape from these chutes if I change a new flat chute? (I'm referring the those normal flat hdb kind and not those magnetic super cool need expensive maintenance kind.) or its normal that there will still be escapees? Thanks in advance!! I'm actually quite bugged by this cockroach issue. -
Hahah. Last time I also thought got colour. Until other ppl told me

hahaha.. since we have got the same fridge, can i know how much you got it for? -
whahaha. i think the cleaning and moving part will also be very very tiring. i think when you start your first round of cleaning, will find alot more areas you will want to speak to your contractor about. unless you have already been very detailed. but after move in, can slowly relax in your own space and regen your lifespan.

I have heard that vinegar mixed with water removes tough water stains but i'm not sure if it actually works on tiles. I will have to try it this weekend when i start cleaning my flat after the contractor hands over. hopefully it will be able to remove the water stains on your tiles. but of cos, try to let your contractor do it

whahaha. blum is super shiok right. actually, why dont you ask your contractor to unscrew the handles for you first so that you can spray. when they come back to touch up or complete the carpentry, the handles will be ready to be installed by them. hehe. i just see it as making full use of the contractors -

whahah. i'm very excited for my reno to be completed (with all rectifications done). We spotted some more defects that needs to be rectified by our contractor. But i think a 100% perfect reno is very difficult to come by. Hehe. Thanks! I am amazed that you can hold out until your ID chase you. I was actually very gan jiong to go shopping. very painful on my wallet but also very shiok cos buying things that will go into our house. -
