Grace, mine isn't open concept kitchen .. though I love to. Tis means the kitchen is a very minimalist setup. Small dining wif 2 - 4 seater, extenable to 6 - 8. I'm positioning the fridge to the left corner of the kitchen entrance. Something slim & tall. Followed by a row of wall hung cabinets for storage. Conceptualizing the kitchen is most daunting due to space & utilization constraint. Challenging indeed

i dunno but gonna try la .. we're not installing door for kitchen. The yard door suffice & when I had tat opened, the wind gush into the house. If cooking smell & grease is giving me an issue, I'll add panelling at the entrance then. Grace: Restriction being we can't position the dining area in front of the altar. Thus, we'll have less storage space in the kitchen.

I hope it'll gel well with the overall design My initial idea was doing panel curtains in front of the bombshelter + wall hung cabinets. Cost saving & versatile to DIY. KSJL, did you bought your TV during ITshow? I went on last day & it was overwhelming with crowds. In the end nvr get anything .. but left drooling for the Macbook Pro & iMac My reno progress very slow .. house still empty & dusty. I noticed my neighbors had moved in .. perhaps all. Hi KSJL, I'm not quite sure how's the opennet going to be done. My appt will be on 5 Apr so it's going to be quite some time. Ok, I'm waiting for carpentry work. So not much update .. except the Ailbaba marks graceakaclouds: no one knows .. but some other residents mentioned a gate hinge reinforcement salesman or the curtain contractor. Do watch out. Hope someone is lucky enough to catch the culprit. But please be cautious & refrain confrontation if u're alone.

A notice on vandalism had been displayed but I guess it dun serve deterrence. I had a double circle first & 3 days later one line below it. I saw my neighbor got circles & few lines.
