Actually, I think SCV point is one of the most rip off charges... a splitter does cost much. The base cost + PVC should be around $10. I just did one for my room. Got a drill set from Carefour and some PVC from Homefix, and viola...SCV point

dun think starhub can turn off the signal for the new port, since most likely your contractor use a splitter to split the signal to the new port. U can try plugging it into the new port (Starhub cable pt?) and see if it works.

I had them write down in invoice for the following: 16" PVC piping 23 Gauge Copper Piping (unlimited length) (had to top up extra $50) Armaflex Black Class 1 insulation $1799 + $150 (brackets) Took adv of UOB 24 mth 0% Just hope everything turns out well...

Planning to get Sharp Plasma Cluster Sys 3 @ Harvey Norman. Sale at $1799. Anyone have experience with their installation? What about Sharp Sys 3 compared to others? Was planning to get Panasonic, but only total 20k Btu, compared to Sharp 3x9k I'm just concerned that installation will be problematic with HN.

I got quote from Gaincity LG Sys 3 $1779 Panasonic Sys 3 $1729 Inclusive of installation, Accoflex 3/8", no limit on piping if install at HDB. Brackets additional $150 Prices are nett. Is this a good deal? Not sure if I should wait for better deal.
