I got a quotation of $45K for some renovation that I want to do to my apartment. However I am not sure if this price seems right or it is on the higher side. This is my first time doing renovation. Can someone advise? I just want to know the ball-park because the contractors changed the price twice and each time it is higher and they said it is because of the materials I use will be more expensive. I am basically quoted base on the following i want to do: - renovate the entire kitchen with new cabinets etc. I am only using wood looking laminate & blum system for cabinets. The kitchen is around 120sqf. - polish my marble floor and parquet - carpentry work for 2 built-in queen-size beds - re-wiring Thanks.
