After purchasing the essential stuff, next up is the decor stuff. I am a person who cannot resist pretty /cute stuff (especially when they are cheap or on sale) so I may have ended up purchasing more of what I actually needed. I have no idea where I'm going to place them yet.. Decor stuff: Clocks, various knick-knacks Decor stuff: - art /wall prints Decor stuff: fake flowers /plants to add some color.. By searching for roses, did I find out that apparently there are different types of roses - eg. french roses, lovers' roses, etc...so interesting. Storage stuff: sauce holder, washing powder holder & laundry bag.

Hehe.. since hubby left most of the home planning to me, after being given the go-ahead, I went crazy online shopping! These are my Taobao purchases. I classified them as “essential” & “décor” stuff. I was actually pretty amazed that I could find a bar counter that looked exactly like the one in my inspiration pic above, hope the actual item turns out ok. So far, we have purchased these items from Universal Union, the prices are pretty reasonable. And our aircon from Gain City, fridge & washer from Harvey Norman. Really love how simple they look! Going to get lots of stuff from Taobao too. The shopaholic in me is super happy!!
