the curtains for my living & mbr r finally done last Fri... the overall effect was indeed good the final thing is finally done & hopefully, we can shift in in nov... my living room... my mbr..missing the night curtains...will only arrive in mid nov..but it looks cool too!!

yeah...my place becomes super dusty after each week...and every weekend was spent doing lotsa cleaning...omg!! cant imagine after i shifted in...bec im a clean-freak! getting real excited as the curtain guy came to take the measurements....cant wait for Fri to come...

i will try to upload more pics once my curtains r done next fri...now busy cleaning the house and getting the house in place... the pioneer guy who came to my house is very professional..he provided many useful tips for us as well..even though he's a grey-haired old man...

wah...so long nv come in liaoz...think my t-blog started to collect dust lor! haha... recent updates: finally found my curtains..due to budget constraints, only doing the living & mbr..both windows on double layer of day & night curtains @ $1100 only!! Quite happy with the price..& it will be upz by next Fri.. !!

well long time no updates.....as us & ID nuah till he nv even collect the last 5k of payment fr us..& we also didnt really bother to rush him to finish off the little works....haiz... btw, nothing much for the past few weeks...everything almost done..but still not completely finished! and we started to feel lazy lor.... didnt do anything except to watch my tv with my air-con on whenever we visited our place...& finally the bill for the past 3 months came! $300+++ !! now walking ard to see curtains....didnt know so ex! got a quotation for living rm (day curtain only) & master rm (day & night curtain) & it costs $1800 after their so called discount...haiz...pocket no more hole to burn liaoz.. anyway, possible to have a budget of $500 for the above-mentioned curtains i need???

of coz got go 85 there....keke...but now refrain from going there too often as we will go there very often next time when we moved! wah....super shiok!@! But parking can kill larz...always no space...I love the ba chor mee, orr jian, chick wings... so fat! Recently not much updates....bec everything in liaoz..but with some hipcupps..but everything still went well.. 1) sofa was changed unconditionally due to some "marks" on it 2) coffee table & dining table will be exchanged in mid oct due to the wrong use of "rubber"...not sure what it is...but it cost a mark on the glass...& they willingly change for us.. 3) washer was exchanged as there's a super small "dent" which is not visible on the cover.. So far not too bad...everything was done & changed accordingly.. Today got BIG findings too....someone had ILLEGALLY moved into my house before US! It was the stupid ants! they were hiding in the small gaps which was not gel-up properly on the skirting...anyone can help to help me remove them???

i think i know where's ur place....hehe.. pls post ur pics soon! cant wait to see...my reno budget also very low...but it burst! of course i wun laugh at urs... everyone has their own unique place! as long as it's cosy and done up with lotsa effort...

oh it's definitely of GOOD quality!! watched abit after the testing...quite clear & sharp even with the normal cables... !! just checked with my laugong on the price of the chair...$160 each..didn't know so ex!! was $200 without discount!

thanks...cant really remember the price of each chair...must check again...should be about $100++ too... bedok north near 85? im not very familiar with bedok area yet.... think cant put wallpaper already...otherwise it will be a "big" project with the TV on it now...haha mayb 5 yrs later....then change to wallpaper.. thanks thanks.....!!! but now the whole place still looks plain..... overall still quite happy with the results lar..

good luck!! mi & hubby search for a long long time for the "ideal" ID...we thought he's the BEST...but yet he disappointed us..haiz.. updates~ today, the pioneer guy came & install out TV lor.... the final touch-ups also done liaoz....so....RENO 100% COMPLETED! YEY! showing us the ideal location of TV... final outcome... our cleaning products..will have it's "opening ceremony" soon...HAHAHA>... we r not even sure if we know how to use the cleaning products appropriately..keke

oh...i think i can understand ur anxieties!! hehe....most impt thing is to look gor a good ID...otherwise, like ours, delay & delay...cannot make it...

hi Junkay, our place is at bedok res. it's not a new flat...but it's abt 7 yrs old... i love my kitchen too... izzit? i hope so too! $$ is nv enough when wedding and reno all came at the same time! hmm....thought private sector usually got more than civil service leh....

yeah...last min decided to get a dryer as it's cheap!! wallpaper needs maintenance meh?? yeah...waiting for bonus too...haha...then can go HM & shop for many more things!!!

hi folks, anyone has any idea how to clean of the newspapers mark stains on white solid top?? I was cleaning my glass backing with newspapers when it accidentally brushes through my white solid top...then tried mama lemon..but cannot clean.... !!

hi jt88, hopefully the plasma is a good choice...know nuts abt TVs...yeah was comparing between plasmas & lcds.but plasma very ex...as for mi, as long as it looks "pretty", i happy liaoz.. !! i hope to enjoy it this weekend the soonest...hehe..it's gonna be my "chalet" first..haha !!

yeah....argued with wen before deciding on plasma as it simply cost too much liaoz!! actually i still felt the feature wall still kinda plain.... !! not sure if not changing to wallpaper still...haiz.... actually thought the coffee table abit too high ya? hopefully with the rug, it will look better.... !! i fell in love with the dining lights even before reno started so i thought it's a must buy!! but next time if sianz liaoz...then i will change my wardrobe room's light for my dining area...

Today was a super long & busy day for us....all the outstanding work was done & all my appliances came... Declare reno finally FINISHED!! pending touch-ups... arrival of dryer: sealy king size mattress: pioneer 42inch plasma...used as a temp table... arrival of washer: panasonic inverter fridge: mbr toilet mirror: common toilet mirror: kitchen black tempered glass: walkway to mbr: finally my dining lightings.. concealed wirings for tv..

Thanks mist. I customised my chair and we r able to change to the frabic I wanted. But the price is the same as PVC leather. So we are able to mix and match. thanks! finally everything is in place after 3 long months...... yesh...have finally decided to keep the current feature wall & save that money for HM.... we got our carpet fr lush at a steal @$199 only during the GSS!!

wow....didnt know i could DIY the wallpapers fr goodrich...they didnt mention anything like that to me.. yes will be retaining the mirror strips...but now with the black tempered glass up, we might not chenag it after all... must save $$$... price for wallpaper & installation: ~$500 (excluding cost of plywood which might cost another ~$200???) think not possible to change laminate again...bec they used the wrong laminate initially & they redo again for us.... THANKS!! we thought it look quite plain now....gonna look for more accessories/paintings etc...to "decorate" the house....

my furnitures fr cellini r here today....finally got to get an idea how my house will look like... view from main entrance.. the sofa.. the dining table & simply love my floral chairs!!! the coffee table.. kitchen sink with *** & soap dispenser installed..
