  1. Dear Qunzmoon, I note that I have the same criteria for sofa as you - L-shaped, high back leather sofa. I wonder if you have been able to get one already. Let me know of any shops or recommendation on your buying process. Thanks!
  2. I just wonder if there's anyone who has bought and used leather sofa from Casa Italy before. I will appreciate if you can share your experience - both negative and positive - with me as I'm considering making a purchase with them. They have shops in MacPherson (Jackson Kopitiam) and Katong Mall. In particular, I like to know about the durability of their structure and quality of their product with age. I've used a Lorenzo leather for the past 5 years and am quite satisfied with their product. However, currently, I'm looking for a L-shaped leather sofa with high back and Lorenzo doesn't have any that I fancies. Hence, I'm considering buying from Casa Italy instead this time round and am concerned how their product quality stack up to Lorenzo's.
  3. I've shortlisted Designer Guys as one of the top 2 consideration. Their quotation is very competitive. I've not signed with them yet. Before doing so, I hope to hear from people in the forum who have used their service before - whether if it is good or bad. Johnson is quite a good sales person but I wonder how much bandwidth he has in monitoring the renovation. It might to left to one of his associates and I think that's when I'm not too comfortable. Do they deliver as promised or are there going to be extra items to be charged? If you have any comments or opinions about their work, I will love to hear about them before i sign on the dotted line.
  4. Hi, I'm also speaking to Mr Tan. His quotation is very competitive and he seemed to know his stuff. Only perhaps, he may seem to know so much that he has ideas of his own and it is quite difficult to impress upon him what we really want. I've not yet sign with him but he is definitely my top 2 choice right now. I will like to hear more feedback from others who have used him for renovation. Particularly, Ilthea: - Has he stared work with you? Do you have any interim feedback on how responsive he is and how good he is? Also, how did you get around the hoon hoe brothers registered under REDAC but not Eagle Design legal issue? Stoutkid:- Have your positive image of Mr Tan change till date? Or has he been matching your expectations. Any update on how good or bad Mr Tan is will be most helpful in helping me decide who to go with for the renovation. Thank you.
