My ID didn't charge me for soft closing also. As on my research, vinyl/veneer are the same just in different term. Both are waterproof but no one can 100% guarantee i guess. All the best!..

Im not against any company here, but I also face the same problem before I finally sign up with my current ID. Some of the ID company are too ridiculous, before do a quotation have to charge 1k deposit etc. I find this is unfair for us as a customers. They only think of the money then our services. I walking in a lot of the IDs but really very disappointing. Im glad that I committed to my ID now, they are professional and they don't charge me so call quotation or design deposit.
