Thanks blossom0501, The contractor has started worked so cannot do anything now. my hacking fee is around $3k , i also hacked the living room and utility room. Erect a new toilet at downstair plus the other two toilets cost me $10k....excluding accessories, WC , basin. living room and kitchen another 14k... My $$ gone. My electrical is $3.4k with upstair and downstair electrical Distribution boards and 22 power points and 20 lightings plus installation. ( Not from the main contractor, he quoted $70 per power point, nearly want to kill him) Hopefully the living room and kitchen will turn out nice if not I will killl...... For the roof, you also need to do water proofing.

How about the water proofing? the stuipd water proofing in kitchen, toilets and balcancy alone cost me $800 plus I was quoted very expensive for the tiles laying .. stuck with the contractor. hate it. spend so much $$ but the house stilll look so old.. Hate it..

Not sure, have not get the final quote yet. budgetting around $3k. cause the previous owner stone spray the whole house including ceiling. Changing the face plate is quite easily. I got to change one of the faceplate myself as the caretaker burned one of the double socket outlet. Just take a screw to unscrew. Of course you need to know what is the "live" -normal RED, neutral-normal brown and earthe-striped green & yellow. BUT REMEMBER TO OFF THE MAIN MCB...before you Change. How much is each telephone point and SCV point. I was thinking of installing Singtel MIO. does that mean I don't need to install those conventional telephone line? That what i am going to do but first got to hack away the pinky tiles. Oh no heard that HDB will be doing the Home Improvement Program in Serangoon. They will be upgrading the toilet as well. Now half hearted whether to do the upper storey toilets . How much one toilet will cost excluding fittings?

Here is it, The cabinet door are okay but black or dark colour and the internal shleving already turns yello. I need to do the top cabinet. The contractor advise to do the whole top and botttom if not not nice. wannted to save $$ try and try still cannot upload..

The cabinet are those made of tiles with black /dark sliding door. Inside the shelving are made of wood. can take out the whole shleving and inside is empty.
