What's the dimension for the large wooden box?

I have recently installed a sliding glass door with aluminium frame for my kitchen. As the living and kitchen flooring is flushed, there is no bottom track, only the top track. However I find that the door feels wobbly and also does not close perfectly at one go as the door may hit the edge of the frame if it is not centered when closing. Anyone has this experience? I ask the workers and they said it like that for top hung sliding door.

I was quoted ard $1200 for using vinyl tiles on my bay windows for all 3 bedrooms. The total length is ard 25ft. I find it quite expensive. The I'd told me if I use laminate for the bay windows also comes up to around tat price. Does anyone have any suggestions on the finishing of the bay windows?

Can I check with you guys, for the kitchen cabinet, if its a full height of around 3 ft wide, does it consider as 3 times of the size? Meaning 9 ft in total. I was quoted that in my quotation.

Hi Jellywelly, I have experience with *** before. Engaged them during the Home fair at Expo. I am not sure if you are referring to the boss who spoke to you. My first contact with them, they promise a lot of things and gave you a lot of picture to imagine. Then they told me not to worry about the cost and they will definitely give the best price. As I was lazy to source around for too long, I decided to pay the $1500, which they promise to offset if i eventually sign them. My concept is Industrial. However, the proposals they gave was not up to my standard. They even proposed cove lights which totally mismatch with my concept. The 3D pictures came out to look modern instead of industrial. All the recommendations are cost. Eventually the quotation came up to $60k plus without GST. The biggest disappointment is the attitude. Not proactive at all. I have to always ask them for the progress and updates. They keep telling me to put the initial payment and start the wet works first. But the design is not even what i wan, so I refused. In the end, I started sourcing for other IDs and ask around for more quotations. In the end I settled for one which only quote around 40k plus with GST. I forfeited my $1500 as lesson learnt. I am not sure about the quality of their end products, but the work attitude and the design is definitely not up to my standard.

Yes the haulage fees are all in under the wet works. I think their labour charges are too high. Too much mark up. Anyway does anyone have experience with * interior? Consulting them for quotation now, if not i will just go for spacesense since they are experience in industrial theme design.

Actually I have already reduced on the customised items. Only customised stuffs are my wardrobe, study table and kitchen cabinets. The rest are just floors and wall

Hi all, I just received my quotation today from my id. I have not much experience and knowledge on reno stuff and this id is found during some fair at expo. Anyway, I bought a 5 room resale and planned for quite a makeover. 1) Hacking and relaying on tiles in Living room, kitchen and yard 2) Overlay vinyl tiles for 3 bedrooms 3) Hacking of kitchen walls to make it open with glass doors 4) Hacking a hole in the wall between master bedroom and common room to create a joining door. 5) Hacking of master bedroom toilet with new wall and floor tiles 6) Overlaying of floor tiles and half wall tiles in common toilet The rest are just carpentry works and stuffs. However the quotation is sky high and I want to seek advice from experienced guys out there before I commit to the start of the reno.
