ordered a sofa from FC(IMM) in Dec 2007. Confirmed the delivery date is 2 Feb 2008. In Jan 08, was passing by FC so went in to ask if my delivery date can be done earlier, they say "AYE! How come give you such a late date to deliver... this sofa can deliver earlier!" So they did a check from the warehouse... and 2 days later called me back say delivery will be done on 26 Jan 08 and its confirmed... Super good service right?! Then on the 26th, early in the morning i called them to check to "confirm" my delivery... To my horror(kinda expected)... they say cannot deliver cos my sofa not in their warehouse... cos of shipping delay... so i asked how come i am not informed?? The guy from warehouse say they informed the IMM shop and they were supposed to inform me... "HOW WONDERFUL!" so i asked them... when can you deliver?? they say earliest is 31 Jan 08... so i told them... nvm you deliver on the original date 2 feb 08 lah... im not going to take leave purposely and later say cannot deliver again and then waste my precious leave! so let's see and will update again...

Give her a call and check with her Think she super busy during this period... esp with ppl like me hounding her She supposed to handover to me yday but her workers did not clean up the place well... So she had to clean my house for me! She spent 3-4 hours at my place cleaning up and calling ppl up... At least at the end of the day... most of the work is done. Still have some touch up outstanding though... will be done these few days.

Yeah the master bedroom is kinda small...so i hacked the walls to accommodate a wardrode... take up a bit of space of the next bedroom. master bedroom becomes more spacious.

The speaker + woofer + av receiver total cost is 968... still within my budget right... hehe

For others im not very sure... For my house, all the hacking is requested by myself...

Actually i stayed in clementi since 1997 also... my mum's place just opposite the clementi mrt Absolutely love clementi! lucky to be able to get the new place thru the ballots.

This is the floor plan... But my furniture layout is not exactly like this The original floorplan is not like that also... the wall between Master bedroom and bedroom 2 has been hacked to accomodate my wardrobe. The position of all 3 bedroom doors has also been shifted to make better use of space. I really hated the position of all the doors that HDB designed. Absolute waste of space. And HDB if you are looking... why must you make the common toilet bigger than the master toilet.

One of the shops offered Onkyo TX-SR304 for $388... saying its a offer price... Plus a Jamo 5.1 set with subwoofer for a total of $968... Dun feel very good about the shop... say the Onkyo model TX-SR304 is a 2007-2008 model.... and Onkyo giving offer cos of its 60th anniversary...

yeah... my reno is also complete... Bulk of my furniture will be arriving coming thursday... Only left grinding parquet (Today), cleaning up (Tmr) and the other touching up activities. Hopefully all goes well for today and tmr... Have alots of pictures...just that im kinda of lazy to put it up as we have been really busy... hehe...

Use bright red! Your kitchen looks very nice! I also used bright red glass for the backing of my kitchen cabinet... overall white cabinets with a few black glass doors. Which ID did you engage??

Mine is the Samsung promotion... I called up Morris yesterday and they told me to bring receipt, serial no. and warranty card.... my TV will only be delivered this coming thursday...

Looking for a HTS for my new home...really at a loss and dunno what brand to get... Have a budget of maximum 1k... Whats the best my budget can get with the following requirements... 1. 5.1 speaker system 2. Rear speakers to be wall mounted 3. Front speakers cannot be too big 4. With AV Reciever 5. Can KTV?? Please help! TIA!
