i recently bought a Ariston Condenser Dryer 7kg for $1026 with stacking kit $75. So far so good. There is no pipe coming out from the back of the dryer cos it uses a different technology. However I does feel that air dried and machine dried clothes feels different. I still prefer air dry actually but with dryer I can wash my linens more frequently.

seriously, if the ID or contractor company suay suay close down, the warranty also "boh pa kay". warranty just gives a peace of mind, before u to sign the contract. caveat emptor!

i got the contractor to rip out the existing door bell and button and seal the hole permanantly. find that wireless one better. anything wrong can replace easily. my mum's 20yr old door bell, battery leak & corrode. so scary.

miumiu: haha that's what I want to know too! however I was advised that the granite supplies are all over the world. no way a lay man like us can tell lah... but they did say that india granite usually darker color. maybe u want to visit a stone and tile shop and find out.. that day too rush didnt ask a lot.

i went to a tile shop and the manager told me that china also gets its granite supply from india. so what u buy may well originate from india and resell as "China" granite. granite can be polished and being natural stone, more hardy than synthetic materials like acrylic surface.

yr situtation cannot be as bad as mine. my neighbours next door has 7 kids. everyone morning at 5.30am u will hear the mother screaming and shouting at them to go to school, babies wake up and cry. every sat and sun they dun go to school - worst! run around, play & shout outside yr window! good thing is that they sleep early. after 6pm quiet liao. moving soon. can't take it.

hi all, yday I went to a stone & tile shop to look for granite w/o my ID. i asked abt china and india granite, whether its true that china granite is ligher in color while india granite is darker. the manager told me that china do not produce their own granite. they buy over quarries in India and send the stones back for treatment and resell as China granite. granite are imported from all over the world. its also difficult to tell which is from what country. Cantona7: what to look out for when fixing the kitchen top? can elaborate?

it was a slightly more than a hairline crack but visible to me. however, others willl not notice it. i did not exagerate to scare AtSuMi. dun hang the blinds on the false ceiling,as it is not designed to 'tahan' the weight.

i do not think false ceiling can take that weight. after u pull the blinds a few times yr false ceiling may crack. my false ceiling cracked after i pull down the down lights to change the bulb.

after two months of searching for the "ideal" or "best" ID, ironically I found that the best designer is non other myself! not saying that now my house is top noch design but it has all attributes I wanted to have, and i believe that I do not need a stranger to plan how I should use the space. i feel IDs are for those with big budget and really have no time to do it. flip thru Home & Decor, there are many self-designed houses. maybe u want to just try it yrself? just my 2cents.
