I am not sure...actually can also use nytoh wood...but only 1 colour lah. Then thought of using shiny surface...you know something like car surface or fridge surface...I dont know the name....no pattern, only colours to choose from....very nice and smooth...but afraid is the joint line. A few lah, some id (cancel off) and some contractors...at least roughly know the market price. I go for contractor since I have nothing much to do especially design or features. Only main pirority is floor and cabinet/wardrobe worksmanship. So far, 2 shortlisted. 1) the one might drop him...but he brings lots of tiles (that never display in the shop) for me to see...until now I asking for more tiles to see. 2) The other one nice lady....price is ok. Ask for requote and might go down her shop to requote again and see what tiles she has....I mean compress stones. So far, still have not ask them to bring me to see their project...maybe late oct. Then maybe on Dec 2007, then will confirm with one of them. So right now....I just sit and relax....how about you?

If no small kids...then it is ok for having parquet floor. I tot of having parquet floor in the first place...but my kids all so small..better not...so I opt out.

Last sunday saw a number of new house kitchen cabinet especially take note of the cabinet edge...their edge seem like the carpenter put something, same colour as the laminiate and unable to see the joint line. And very smooth. Not like RELOAD, the joint line (edge) can see the inside (black colour). So RELOAD do take take of this..

No 4th floor....8th floor is scopy house. The 4th floor is very simple and bright. No features.... I found out something...you know the Lbox? Normally install those square lights right? As expected, one uncle actually follow us behind...and when we tok the lift up to 10th floor...no showflat...just see the door facing door....out of sudden, that uncle came up and went down the stair case... I thought the uncle is the officer..... When went down, saw the uncle standing there! There is also 2 guys (young chap) asking want to renovate hosue? Also 1 guy stand there as if he is a policeman! Why cant they leave the pple alone??? And saw 3 uncle sat one corner and looking at pple walk pass by.... Sorry, no offence, those uncles seem like they are at the red light district area...pple walk, they follow...they see you..eye never leave you...worst, one guy (about 40) stand at blk 26A as if a pimp! Yes I agreed. Cheapest quotation doesnt mean you get the best deal in Spore! Cheapest = poor materials = new carpenter = new tilers = new painter = new new new workers. In the end, owner gets headache! So, it is better to have those in the middle price, not cheap and not expensive..spend a little bit more is better than see your whole house gana handipaste!

I wanted to complain but dont know where to complain those uncles touting.... It MUST be STOP or else pple coming is very stressfull. They should station at one corner with a built in tent so that pple can just walk in and ask them. So how to complain? Touting is illegal.... Or call police to come and stop them for being a nuisance??? That is the first id I cancelled off from my list. First quotation met up at my place...stressful as somehow pressure me to sign the quotation form. Once I was pressure, that is the end of them! Last wekend, went to sbh (2nd level), see this divider....wow..might copy the design and have it in the main foryer area...how about it? And look at the floor with tiny strips (pebblewash)?? Good idea for the main door foyer area too. Is this pebblewash? Might use it in the kitchen enterance.....?? Can consider if it is not cheap lah. Look at the left side of the cabinet, I want this if enough space, pull up cabinet??
