I am going to use curtain. Curtain colour will be the same for the living room and bedroom. To make it look as if there is another window! hehehe I have post a pic on my blog. Then buy (dont know the name) those 2 feet long wooden arm chair. Those arm with slight curve, to prevent any wind blowing up the curtain.

Hi BOO Take your time to source for contractor. Do not rush. Initially I also blur blur, anything id (from past sourcing) said, I just nod head. But one thing to bear in mind, never sign first. Bring home the quotation and read thru carefully. And I am sure after a few quotation, you will roughly know what you really want. But, do write down the final items you need to rrenovate.
