I also dont go for design, for me, if everyday see the same design on your home, will feel bored! Then how? Cannot hack down, cannot shift position...all cost money. So, how? Better keep it to the minimum as what HSH21 said. Buy movable furniture and create your own design. At least can change now and then. Sorry, no offend for those who go for designs.

yes yes yes, talking about $1 to $2 buffer, I totally agreed with you. Each item contain a certain amount of buffer add into the price. During my first meeting with one of the id, the quotation is abit too high. And I was talking and looking at the quotation...the boss will walk near me and told the id : can! give discount. Eg) item 6: $1850, the boss will say: Give him $1750. Of course I will feel happy about it. And only they see you happy, you will ask or rather pressure you to sign on the dotted line. Of course I dont want lah. After a few days of pondering...I find that I nearly con by their tactics!! Hi LAK For kitchen granite top, do bear in mind whether there will be joining line or whole slab of granite. If there is line, it will be cheaper. If whole piece of granite slab and cut into the size, then it will be expensive. By how much? I am not so sure. This is what one of the contractor told me. Either has a line and pay more to have one piece.

Hahaha….there is this id guy insists on meeting me as he has the quotations! Told him not free for at least 4 to 8 weeks…he still insists one day meet up. I told him again not free for at least 4 to 8 weeks….. I told him to mail your quotation for me so that I can read it up in my office at night…. He told me quotation might not be accurate especially granite…..the rest need to discuss. Discuss wat? I told him kitchen cabinet, labour cost for granite tilers, grills, paint, kitchen floor all standard one…why not be accurate? He bopian and I insist he send to me…. I sms my company mail and he said ok… Unitl now, never rec' his quotation, Sms him again and told me HE IS OUTSIDE, CANNOT MAIL TO ME, AT NIGHT THEN SEND TO ME!! This is call excuses!!!! Wondering whether he afraid to let me see the quotation, fearing I might fainted by the price!!

HI RELOAD Relax....I am sure he will want to make your house look beautiful and not nightmare for himself. It makes no good for him and his business. Pple will run away if they know about his attitude and worksmanship. I am sure he also dont want that to happen. Just relax and wait for him to solve the problem swifty and good!

Hey JAZZ, Yes, only estate plan (come with those angles) and the birth time. No lah, it depends on individuals, some can live there, some not good lah. eg) my mum can only select certain unit, blk 25a is out for her, but I can select blk 25a... In the end , we select blk25b together, same level. btw, $1,800+ is for whole unit, not room.

I really hope that it will be solve asap and everything will be back to the best! I am sure the contractor will not want to see this happen. Maybe it is unfortunate , maybe there is some miscommunication between the owner and the contractors, or maybe spec is not spell out well and maybe it was unlucky and one off incident. Let him (contractor) ponder over the issue and hopefully he can get on the track and get the job done well. I am sure he will also dont want to see customers unhappy with his jobs. If not, his rice bowl will be at stake! And everybody will run away.

I think those uncles has to stop doing this. It makes pple so uneasy and stressful. You know, when you feel like coming to see, but was restricted by those uncles standing there. Maybe can tell the hdb officers about it? But how? And ask the hdb officers to inform those uncles that touting is illegal. And warm them dont paster the owner and visitors. Look at the lift? The black spray? The showroom unit no.? And the dirty 4 letter words? It is getting out of hand!

Yes that is the one. In fact I consulted them for the unit!! But then their charges a bit high; $1800 est. for 5 room unit for 2 hours! We intend to look for cheaper fsm without any major changes to the unit. eg hacking.

Sorry for causing confusion among you guys. the normal std is less than 3mm and at least three tiles (cross section) must be aligement with each other. Then the worksmanship is consider very good! I heard from someone say that.

My contractors (shortlisted) told me around $10 to $20 psf. My contractors are searching for me (around $8 to $10 psf) compress stone. If got the colour which I want, I might confirm! That is the problem pple facing with the uncles. They follow you until you reach the lift. Now I heard that they shifted to blk 27a??? But still those uncles wait and wait for pple to come. I
