My house was audited by fsm as I just want to make sure my family members live happily together and in good health and have 3 meals to eat, and have stable jobs and have stable income and live in peace and happiness and good health and 'chou lu pin ang'! The rest like strike toto or 4d is not that impt to me. But if there is, of course that will be a bonus.

Hello everybody This is the old question which has been discuss before. Just to bring it up again for your comments. 1) Did anybody drill 3 holes (Bottom) at the main door kerb area? What is your contractor comment? 2) Did anybody see how your electrician install sockets on the wall? They hammer the screw into the wall or screw it in? Please comments. HAPPY

What is the pros and cons for installing the shower screen. 1 advantage is that the water wont splash onto the other side of the floor. 1 disadvantage is tha we have to open and close the shower screen. But we already lock the toilet door. Double close? How is it especially those who has install the shower screen. Good or bad? Thanks for everybody input.

Hi Lynn Thanks for your encouragement. Yeah, will be asking my id about the materials they gonna use. Phase 1 (flooring tiles done) Phase 2 (Kichen concrete base and cabinet) and Air con installation. This week, they will do concrete support for my 5 room basin and stove. Same as my mum's ktichen. After that, will discuss with Gina about the kitchen cabinet this saturday again. This coming week, air con installation will be underway, probably next Thur or Fri or Sat. So far so good! Just keep my finger cross! Anyway, saw a stainmark in one of the tiles (my mum's and my unit), will put a big notice to ask them to rectify the problem. Other than that, feel happy with the whole process. HAPPY

Hi Kelvin Nice light you have! Today went to another light shop to buy the rest of the lights. Total cost: $775 + $150 (last friday purchase) = $905. And bought a ceiling fan = $420 (comes with regulator switch). HAPPY

Yes, do a small kerb so that you wont feel that your ktichen is higher than your foyer area. Is the gap big or just less than0.5cm only? Or other than kerb, I dont know you notice the living room laminated meet the passwage way where tilers put those semi round wooden stipes? You may consider using that to join it.

I also find no logic why the short wall should be at 1m (kitchen area). It is up to our owner to decide. Just pay the top up loh. Sometimes I have been wondering certain things can be done but id/contractors just want the easy way out.

Hi Kelvin....nothing will go wrong in your positioning of the gas pipe. Yesterday I talked to my id about the heat generated behind the fridge and told him not advisable to run behind the fridge, but he said no problem for that. Perfectly safe and sound! I bought 2 kitchen lights, 2 toilet lights and 1 hhs lights. Total cost $150. Compare to Prima lights: Total cost $500++! See the different? Anyway, will not have any so call desginer lights for the kitchen, using normal lights cos I will have bamboo poles, so, will not have any problems if I accidentally hit the lights. If mounted designers lights, if I hit and the glass break, all gone!!! So I opted for more pratical and down to earth lights. No fanciful lights for kitchen.

Hi Everybody Just to share this information with you. Got it from my neighbours. Believe or not is up to individual. QinMing coming and it will last for 1 month. During that period, most of the owners will not move in if you are pangtang. My neighbour told me to buy a small portable radio and play it at night until tomorrow morning. Or you may play it for 1 whole month. Reason is that the visiting soul upon hearing the house got music, they will not go in. Play it at the living room. Do not play religious song as this may attract the visiting soul to your house. HAPPY

Inner wall: nothing. The edges will have cornice and the cornice will paint eg) dark brown. The inner wall will be light brown. Then the tv console will be in front. Sound strange and funny??

Hi Kelvin Thanks! But my tv will not be mounted on the wall. I will just buy a simple tv console or bring my old tv console over to my new house. The cornice will be the same width as the recess area and all around it. Then print a darker tone colour and the inner wall will be much lighter colour. You get what I mean? Thanks!! HAPPY

Hi LING Should not have any problem. Top cabinet already cover up the top pipe. Bottom cabinet also cover up the bottom pipe. Except the middle which runs at the edge of the pillar...can ask your id to box up using the same laminating colour of your cabinet. Or better still, have a small rectangle box cw door. Ask your id to throw in foc for you lah. But Kelvin is better in his pipe layout. Hidden behind the fridge! Good idea, need to tell my id also! HAPPY

Oh my dear! How come like that? You and your hubby did not go there everyday to check? Did you tell your id that your 40inch lcd is deliver to your new houes? Normally the id will change a good lock for you if owner started to deliver goods to their unit. I dont know whether your id can help you to settle part of the compensation. It really depends on your id himself/herself. I think it really against you now as you are the owner and your should also bear a certain responsibility. Do talk to your id nicely again as id SHOULD ALSO BEAR SOME responsible for any liable/mishap should anything happen to your new home as your id and his/her gang can also gain access to your unit too. Use this tactic...use 1 chopstick and dip it into the oil. If you see many bubbles means very hot. So, pour a little oil to reduce the heat. Garlic cannot just throw into hot oil, sure turn black. Try use lower heat and not max lah! For me, normally when I cook, I usually turn on low or medium.

Got a call from PUB officers about my case and even took my water reading. Main Con??? I think they gone to sleep. No news whatsoever! Gonna open the letter box and will ask main con what about the 25% of water bill??? True...main con are indeed like tortoise! Until now, still waiting for them to follow up!!
