Mine prefer layout B (L shape).

What door is that? Very expensive. But according to one id I spoken to, it is better to have a solid hard ply wood, then buy a tin of ...(I forgot the name) and apply it twice to prevent water from sipping in. I regret also. Very unfair as they let us see the door which is different from the door they are giving now.

Hello Saeran Just feel the line between the tiles, if it is smooth, then the worksmanship is good. But then it is better to feel others so that you will be able to know which contractor has the good worksmanship. I have already strike off that contractors on the 6th floor. Bad experience with one the the guy.

This late morning, went down with my neighbours (her unit has soome defects and hdb officer need to check), so I followed her down and see see look look. Went to 15 floor (5 rm), wow, really living room very big! Went to 22nd floor (4 rm), I can say 80% completed. Kitchen cabinet mould already up. The detractable hanger was taken out and place it in the tiolet. But when I see, it was bulky. Went down to 6th floor (4rm) to let my mum see the granite layout. So that she can have the feel of how to arrange her funiture. Also talk to the hdb officers whether can have the door back? I leave my phone no, hopefully hdb staff will call back cos I feel the door is very solid and good. Too bad to say that the contractors who do the those units, I have strike it off my list!!

Oh....they also want to do this to me too. Want to bring me down to see tiles and they did not even want to ask us whether we confirm to let them do or not. They assume that I want to let them do. That really piss me off even though their worksmanship is good compare to others at blk 25a.

Heng heng heng for you and your family. Just be careful especially those around the blk 25a. They just hit and go type one. Luckily I have 2 shortlisted. This weekend, going to meet another 2 id/contractors. What interested me is the tiles and their worksmanship. The rest like design I am not not interested. Guess maybe I am already old liao!!

Learn 1 more new things, ask the contractors whether same tilers and what is their name? At least if confirm, when go there,we can ask for their name. So that contractors will not anyhow ask someone and lay the tiles. Thks GnM

Yesterday heard another story from my neighhours that this contractors wanted to bring my niehgbours (a group) to tanglin halt to view showflats. He told them they wont do if my neighbours only want to do floor and kitchen cabinets. He also told them after veiw, and draw uot and quotation, they must sign with him! All my neigbhours black out and all did not go with him. See....the colours all come out from this company. How can the comtractors comments like that? Very bad!

Last saturday went to see the showflat at the our new blocks, and what a small world, that is him! And when he saw me and my sis and wife, he told us: Just come to see see hor! What a remarks! And my good, the worksmanship is no good (granite tiles layout). I can give 3/10 rating. And I even managed to get the name of the company! Thks, now I heard from my neighbours that our new blk might not be able to meet the target of 4th quarter, problably next year 1st quater. So I guess I have to slow down a bit in hunting for correct contractors. So far, 2 have been shortlisted. Very good price! Of course not those hanging around the viod deck touting for buseiness.

Hi SUMMER Thks for sharing the info. I have already email to them for cancellation. Until now, they did not call me. heheh... Anyway, from what I hear from my neighbours, it ie terrible. Have not sign, everything they say can, can strike off the item if you dont want. After sign the contract, all excuses come out, eg) it is a package lah, can only refund part of the cost per item lah... Give up on them.

hahah, went there to take a look. Granite tile a bit dark. I asked the contractor how much is the tile, he told me $3 per square feet, means 600x600 = $3 x 4 = $12. For what I know, $3 granite tiles are normally not that good. I used my foot to fell the line and it is very rough. The worksmanship is very crude. Not that good. Maybe they used 'rejected' granites. But then the contractor told me after laying the tiles, they use a machine to 'brush' the tiles. I dont know is it that the line is too chipped. I mean still good lah but not good quality. So, better ask for $4 to $6 granite tiles, line is smooth. I hope that what I say is correct about granite tiles.

Later this evening, I am going down to blk25a to see a unit, almost done. My neighbour told me it is spacious (living room) compare to the tiles and walls in the original states. Yes she is right as once tiles are laid and walls are colour, it will look bigger! But mym mum still not convience....... I am going to unit #19-110. Granite tiles!!!! So whose going? Remember to say renotalk, renotalk....then we will know who lah.
