I am also gonna use granite top. One solution, use another extra granite tile and place on top of it together with chopping board. and use another extra granite and top water boiler on it!

Hi BULLET Thanks. I was at one of the tiles shop and she show me compress stone. Saw 2 tiles that has very little mirror chip in it almost none. Very nice colour and the surface is good. Not slippery also. BTW, how about the lines in between during layout? Is it like granite or homo tiles? I mean like granite, the line is very fine, homo tiles tends to have at least >3mm in between each other or like marble, you virtually cannot feel any lines at all?? Can I say the price is in between marble and granite? Est. will be around $8 (per square feel)?? Please advise and thnks!! HAPPY

Yesterday went ot a near completion house, I would say 95% completion. The guy (from that company) told me they need to do chemical wash and then 'POLISH' THE GRANITE (I heard it from his mouth). I never argue with him lah since I also drop him off my list. Granite polish?? Never heard of that.

Deposit?? Normally for me I wont pay a single cents if I have not confirm with them. Nor I feel good if they press me and tell me disount this and that! Just see the sat adv, so many id/contrators offering promotions and free free free items. 1 id even dare to tell me his boss will give me $1000 if we (3 units) sign up with him. Call me again and tell me again about $1000 and that is special offer for us, tell me about cememt price going to increse and all the crap. And see the sat paper (for 2 wks) and the id firm actually offer every body $1000 and free this n that! Luckily never commited with him or else gana con.
