I'm sure if you speak to the contractor they can do something. Reason being is that the heater needs to know if you turn to hot it triggers the heater to turn on even if the switch to the heater is on.

Yes. Sorry for the confusion and typo. Either one or two burners. The one burner type from Bosch not cheap, think 1.2k but I think that newer models can only use tank gas. Pipe city gas insufficient pressure.

I'm using fisher and paykel induction hob, price is near to Dietrich. You can consider Dietrich or fisher newer model of induction. I did consider Bosch but i purchase a product with decision skew towards after sales service. If it is poor I rather not purchase it because it is like buying more problem in future.

There are two 30cm x 60 cm two hob type from various brand like Bosch fisher Dietrich etc. also they have single hob at 30cm. All have pretty good "fire power".

You will need to add a heater, for mine i did not add the heating element or water heater to heat the water. It is just cold water. if really required, there is an option to run the pipe through a small "water heater" so that whenever it is turn to red, there will be hot water. Cheers!

Update! Finally have time to meet up with the ID to walk through the last process of tidying up the last few bits and pieces of the renovation. Still require at least another 1-2 months before it is finally completed due to last minute decision. So far a few members here have signed on the line to engage this ID and their reno is almost complete soon too. Kitchen update: Tap and sink functional! - Backsplash up! drip test on the sink - no leaks. The pivoting head was assembled wrongly and has to tilt 90 degrees so the tap can pivot 90 degrees left and right. Small issue. High pressure, very good, Kraus lives up to the quality. Left switch corner will be re-done to make it to have a full glass back splash. Living room update. Cabinet glass may need rework due to tightness of glass. Removing the small left glass panel due to safety precaution because it seems to protrude out of nowhere.
